Why do we have a tendency to hold on to those moments in life when we made a mistake or were feeling depressed? During those times it's almost as if we forget to breathe and reflect on all the moments of triumph and victory we've also experienced. How quickly we forget!

Our victories when truly tallied could actually be more numerous than we've considered. Remember, it's the small victories along the journey of life that can bring so much contentment and joy. The large victories also come, but those are highlights of a life. The achievements whether big or small we attain, are too quickly forgotten and traded in for those fleeting moments of desperation and despair. We can do better, and we can have more. We absolutely deserve to bathe in those moments of wonderful joy on a regular basis and not wallow in misery and despair. You can!

When depression, misery, failure, and unhappiness begin to invade your senses--please, please recognize this for what it is, a learning experience. During those times, push back on your brain to recollect times of joy and gratitude! When you are able to do this on a consistent basis, you'll have officially trained the brain to redirect your thoughts in a positive manner. In doing so, you'll begin to realize just how much power and potential you truly possess in living the life you've dreamed.

Be POWERFUL today! Be STRONG and COURAGEOUS today, and fight for the life you deserve. Speak it, Desire it, Demand it, and you will have it.
