The crazy thing is that they could have been making so much money here, using their skills to improve people’s lives and so on. The problem is that it takes effort and these people don’t believe in effort and just want to destroy everything that’s good. But we’ll soldier on and build up the awesome platform.

Some of them could accomplish great things if they just used even a fraction of the energy they put into trolling and put it into doing something productive instead. They're like the propeller on an airplane that's anchored to the ground; you can rev the engine at full throttle, but the plane isn't going anywhere.
Agreed! It's much easier to blame other people for your problems than to actually solve them yourself.
But trolling is what internet is for!
