Sedikit cerita tentang sejarah atau asal usul dari tanaman wortel.
Tanaman wortel berasal dari Asia Timur dan Asia Tengah yang beriklim sub-tropis. Sekitar 6.500 tahun yang lalu, sebelum tanaman ini digemari oleh khalayak ramai, tanaman wortel dulunya tumbuh liar, sebelum dibudidayakan di daerah sekitar Laut Tengah, hingga kemudian menyebar ke kawasan Asia, Eropa, Afrika, serta ke seluruh bagian dunia yang menjadi sentra pertanian. Sekian sedikit sejarah singkat tanaman wortel, semoga bermanfaat.
