I completely agree with you @nairadaddy
Facebook could be considered a menace to our social lives. I've wasted over 5years of my life facebooking and it has gotten me nowhere, but just few months into steemit i'm really reaping great benefits already.
Just few days ago it dawned on me to make a post almost like this and I did just that. Link
