May be or may not be. The calculation of curation is very complex and not understandable easily. Even today, I can't knew complete things.
There is one additional point to the curation. Once a particular threshold of upvoters has reached, all further upvote value is awarded to the first eligible 5 or 6. Why? Because, the system can't infinitely be computing curation distribution.
So, yeah its complex.
