No way! Can't believe his reading of tea leaves can't predict the future.
It's been very profitable for me. I got out of bitcoin when he pointed out a head in shoulders pattern around $18,000 and bought back at his target around $11,000. I then sold that around $15,000 when he said the correction isn't done. I still don't think he is sharing the information ethically though. Some posts hardly have anything on them.
look at the reward pool rapes done by whales on hot chicks, friends, family, gf, etc. The only way to get rid of this mess is by removing the trending, promoted and hot pages. only then genuine posts will get good upvotes. since iv joined steemit, 95% of the time the top trending posts are all almost on same topics. Basically if ur not a hot chick or not a programmer or not related to whales or not a famous youtuber, u dont get anything for your posts, no matter howmuch you have worked hard on it.
How would removing the pages stop him from getting upvoted from 1-2 people over and over?
People who wanna cheat, are going to cheat. do u think whales and programmers here are not cheating? But, all the minnows, dolphins get a fair chance if trending/hot/promoted pages are removed. that way one will only search for posts/blogs one likes. Start noting down the top 20 trending posts daily for next few months, you will realise that most of the time its the same type of posts and sometimes same blogger too.
Limit number of posts to 4 a day. In fact even 4 is too many unless you're 2 or 3 people making new content to post. Remember this is a site for CREATORS, where HIGH QUALITY content is supposed to be rewarded. So far the rules don't do that.
Also lower the threshhold for when votes start to lose value, to make it less profitable to use paid bots.
We super rarely see high quality content on trending page.

Yes true, but it's impossible coding-wise apparently. So best bet is to make them less profitable to use.
I like that idea personally. We write about addiction and recovery which is already a hard subject area. Perhaps a reward curve that is more algo based to encourage content discovery and sharing with people unknown to you?
