Blockchain? What Blockchain?

At first glance i'm the last person you would expect to be interest in new technology, I'm a 30 something old mum of an adorable toddler, I sew vintage clothing, learning patternmaking, stockpile fabric, love cooking good food, gardening and i watch Historical Drama. Anyone else loving The Crown these days? Basically involved in my #mumlife stuff.
Anyone else like me?

But I have a darker side

I also play WOW and other computer games. love learning about the gaming platforms and for fun doing some game design courses. Unity, GameMaker, Blender, Unreal Engine. I know about these things. I was also taught to write computer code by dad and was more confident writing a webpage from scratch that using the template thingos.

Not just a case of pissed i didn't invest 1000 in Bitcoin 3 years ago... I genuinely missed the development of a whole HUGE area of technology building right around me. Literally right around me. I guess i account for most people in the world today that don't know anything about it at all. You are this vague small group of computer nerds and semi-criminals dabbling in a shady area of the market according to the big 'out there population...'

and now ive just jumped head first into it all... I haven't even hit the bottom yet and i need to come up for air.. lol

I was there for the birth of the internet. I was a child (i'm an early 80s child) and my dad was very involved in the early computer scene. He built and developed computers and was very involved in early computer programming. My childhood toys of Barbie, Sylvanian Families, dolls and Lego, were interspersed with bits of home build computers in there very fancy home build WOODEN box.

I knew what the internet was long before my teachers at school did. I was present when "typing classes" became "Technology classes" that happened in MY school years.

Yet i missed this big change, and my goodness it will be a huge change in the years to come. EPIC. So Here i am learning about this wonderful area that is Steem, blockchain, tech developments and Crypto. and here is me finding that bandwagon and jumping right on!!
