Steemit Update [June 14th, 2026] : Community Curators for July

in #steemlast month

It’s time for another round of Community Curator applications.

The new expanded Community Curator program using the additional @booming accounts appears to be working well. We will therefore be continuing the same plan for July including the specific support for newcomers and apps and games.

So in July there will again be a total of 11 Community Curation accounts with 13M SP between them.

The Community Curators for July

For July we are inviting people interested in becoming Community Curators to apply in teams of two or three.

For July there will be a minimum SP requirement of 10,000 SP for each team member.

Teams will be free to vote on any types of post as long as they are not plagiarized or created by AI.

We want teams to look beyond communities. There are many good posts that are outside of any communities - just directly on people’s personal blogs. Teams should seek out these often neglected authors.

The Curation Teams should also allocate some of their voting power to good comments.

How to Apply as a Community Curator Team

One member of the team should make a post including…

  • Details of each team member, including their brief history on Steem and any positions of responsibility they have held on the platform

  • The nationality, languages and country of residence of each team member

  • The key stats of each team member (own SP, CSI, Reputation, Delegations).

Please note that each person can only be included in one application.

Supporting Games and Apps

We are also inviting developers of new games or apps on Steem to apply for a Community Curator account for July.

To apply for one of these special Community Curator accounts developers should submit an application post including…

  • A brief summary of what their game or app does and how it benefits the Steem platform

  • Details of how a Community Curation account would help their game or app develop and grow.

For July there will be a minimum SP requirement of 10,000 SP for each team member.

Supporting Newcomers

We are aware that support for newcomers has become more variable over the last few months so we therefore want to continue with a Newcomers Community Curation team.

This team will have one of the bigger @booming accounts to support newcomers during their first three months on the platform.

For this we are looking for teams of up to five.

All members of the team should be from different countries, and have a minimum of 10,000 SP.

The Newcomers Community Curation team should include helpful tips and guidance when they curate to help newcomers improve their posts.

The team should also be very alert to fake and duplicate accounts created just to get rewards from this new curation account.

Teams applying for this role should include in their application how they will deal with both these points.

All types of application post should include the tag #curatorapplication in the first four tags.

Teams applying to become the Newcomers Curation Team should clearly indicate this in the post title.

Applications can be made in any language.

Posts should be submitted by 11.59pm UTC, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026.

How Community Curators will be rewarded

Every day all teams will be allowed to allocate one full vote to a member’s post - ideally in rotation.

In total no more than 10% of the account’s voting power should be used on team members each week.

Additionally each week one member should post a report for the team in the Steem POD community with a list of their top 7 posts, with a brief note of why each post was chosen.

This will be the same for the Newcomer Team and the Game/App Curator teams.

The posts will be voted by @steemcurator01.

Thank you to this month’s Community Curators. You are all welcome to apply again for July.

The new Curation Teams will be announced by the end of the month, with a view to starting at the beginning of July.

Recovering your lost investment funds as the case might be, is not what you can do alone, you’d require the service of a trained recovery specialist. A recovery specialist is a person or a group of people who are well equipped to work around the brokerage network. They have vast knowledge about the whole network and have the right software and private keys to follow any transaction. I was ripped off trading online to an investment broker, good thing I got every penny back through the help of Gavin ray he’s a genius Contact : Gavinray78 at g mail com It is also important to be patient and really calm during the process.

I am very disappointed to see the irregularities of the curators.

Your eyes will pop out just by seeing this post.

I understand your concern, and transparency in curation is definitely important for trust on the platform.

At the same time, curation teams often work within guidelines that may not always be visible to users, so what looks like “repeat selection” can sometimes be part of internal evaluation systems or overlapping quality standards rather than direct bias.

That said, your point highlights something valuable — the need for continued improvement in fairness, diversity of selections, and clearer visibility of how curators make decisions.

Hopefully the Steemit team can review feedback like this and keep refining the system so that more unique and deserving posts across all communities get recognized consistently.

Constructive discussions like this are important for platform growth.

That is not quiet right there are thousands of posts and there are curators making deals to reward another and the same counts for nominating another.
This exactly the reason why they refuse to work with me.
