What is with users who dont want to UPVOTE

I am new here and need to work hard and prove myself so can people upvote me.
But whatsup with the people who are here long time and colect 100-200....1000$ of their post and dont want to upvote their followers??
I understeand that u dont need to upvote everything , but u need something to upvote.
U need to understeand that people who are ur followers give u their time( which is the most precious gift)
and u need to respect that and show gratitude by upvoting or comment, not just to make a post then go sleep and wake up to see
u have made 100$ on ur post and dont even care if somebody see it or comment on it.
Thank u , this is only my opinion dont need to agree.
