KARA DELİK (BLACK HOLE) NEDİR?

ABD Ulusal Bilim Vakfı, 2012 yılında kara deliğin çevresini gözlemlemek için kurulan Avrupa Birliği (AB) destekli ‘Event Horizon Teleskobu’ndan (EHT) elde edilen kara delik fotoğrafları ve araştırma sonuçlarını Brüksel Avrupa Birliği Komisyonundan dünyayla paylaştı. ABD Ulusal Bilim Vakfı’na bağlı ve Avrupa Birliği fon destekli astrofizikçiler, kara deliğin çevresini gözlemlemek için kurulan Event Horizon Teleskobu’ndan (EHT) elde edilen kara delik fotoğrafını ve araştırma sonuçlarını, Avrupa Komisyonu Bilimsel Araştırma ve İnovasyon Komiseri Carlos Moedas ve 5 bilim insanı tarafından düzenlenen basın toplantısında açıkladı.Scientists included Heino Falcke from the Radboud University in Nijmegen, Luciano Rezzolla from the Goethe University in Frankfurt, and Michael Kramer of the Planck Radio Astronomy Institute. With the contribution of European scientists, the existence of black holes is not only theoretically, said the European Commission Commissioner for Scientific Research and Innovation Carlos Moedas, the potential of the joint work carried out with the various countries of the world could improve the potential.

At the press conference, Professor Jean-Pierre Bourguignon, President of the European Research Council, congratulated scientists around the world for making this inspiring discovery and pushing the boundaries of knowledge. Bourguignon also stressed that they are satisfied with the EU's support for financing.
