The Diary Game (05-06-2026) - Managing the Stables and Beating the Desert Heat
I hope you are all having a wonderful and productive week. I am @zainblouch, sharing my daily routine from Al Ain, UAE. Today was another action-packed day filled with responsibilities, livestock care, and managing my team under the intense summer sun.
Morning: A Blessed Friday and Heavy Breakfast
Being a Friday, the morning felt deeply spiritual and peaceful. I woke up early, performed my ablutions, and offered the Fajr prayer. Spending time with the Holy Quran early in the morning always grounds me and gives me the mental strength needed to face a tough workday.
Since I work outdoors daily, skipping breakfast is never an option. Today, I enjoyed a fresh, hot paratha with fried eggs and a large mug of traditional milk tea.
Afternoon: Vet Care and Team Coordination
As an equestrian professional here at Ben Shahwan Stables, my afternoons are always intense. Today, my main focus was reviewing the health of our horses and livestock. We had to administer routine veterinary medications, including Ivermectin for deworming and checking the stock of general supplies.
Managing a team of seven employees also requires constant attention. I spent time coordinating their tasks for the day, ensuring the horse stalls were perfectly cleaned and the feed was properly distributed.
The temperature peaked at a blistering 48 degrees today, making the physical labor quite exhausting.
Around midday, we paused our work for the afternoon. I offered my prayers, took a long rest to escape the scorching heat, and shared a simple lunch with my team.
Evening: Family Time and Relaxing at Home
When I returned home in the evening, the first thing I did was wash away the desert dust and heat. Working in the sun daily causes severe dryness, so I made sure to apply my regular vitamin C serum and skin care routine to help with the sun pigmentation.
The best part of my day is always coming home to my family and spending time playing with my baby boy. His smiles make all the exhaustion from the 48-degree weather instantly disappear.
To relax, I brewed a hot cup of lemon and ginger tea.
Right now, I am sitting down to check my mobile bank application to monitor team expenses and keep everything tracked. It was a long, hot, but very fulfilling Friday.
Thank you so much for reading my diary entry for today! I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments section below. Until tomorrow, stay safe and blessed!
Best Regards,
Zain Ali (@zainblouch)
