The diary game: a busy but fun yesterday (17/2/2026)

My yesterday wasn't bad but kinda busy, yesterday morning when I woke up I was prepared to go to church, after taking my bath and put on my cosmetics I search for my red gown to wear after dressing then I left for church, during church service I went out and sat quietly and think. My face looked calm, but my mind was busy. I was thinking about my life, making small plans, and taking a moment to breathe. It was peaceful but deep at the same time. Then I went inside later to continue the church service.

After church service, I went home on my way home I branch the market and buy somethings to cook during my time in the market I was deciding on what to cook so I stayed a bit long then finally decided on cooking my native soup called afang soup ( afang soup is on of the west African delicacies with it unique aroma). When I was done at the market I went home and prepared my ingredients for the soup and I boiled it and Steam filled the air, and the smell of the food made the whole place feel warm. Then I stood there watching everything come together. There is something special when it comes to preparing your own meal and seeing it turn out well. That's why cooking is one of my best hobbies.

When I was done cooking I ate my delicious meal, then I took a nap later I woke up and I was craving for plantain so I stepped out to get the plantain, when I went to the fried spot the woman was about to fry the plantain when she turn and saw me standing she insisted I sat down and wait for her so I did. Few minutes later she was done with the plantain and she sold for me then I went back inside,It was a short outing, but it felt nice to leave the house for a bit most times.then I got home and I relished every bit of the plantain.

Later, in the evening it rained. The ground was wet and everywhere looked fresh and calm with cold. The sound of the rain slowed everything down and made me dull . It felt like the perfect ending to the day, after the rain subsided I went out to check what the wind has done with my little garden which the wind was a very heavy wind and I step out of the house behold some places was scattered and I looked at my garden and saw that the wind didn't spoilt anything bad in the garden so I breathe and went inside to get my book worked on by reading.
