The Diary Game: 17/09/2026 A Day in My Life as a University Student

Who said being a university student is just about attending lectures and going home? 😂 hi my steemians it Your favourite girl @ify2026 with another interesting diary entry.

Some days, you find yourself moving from one class to another, trying to understand practicals, taking notes, learning something new, and somehow still trying to manage your money you see this money part.😭😂
Today was one of those days, so let me take you through it. ❤️

Lecture room

We had an 8 a.m. lecture today. I woke up early and rushed to class, only for the lecturer to not show up. Ohhh, my precious sleep! 😴 I should have still been in bed. This is the student life you rush just to end up disappointed, the day you decide not to go attendance will be taken serious, lecturer will show up 😂😭.
You are a student and you can’t relate to this hell no.

Is it just me, or can every student relate to this? 😂😭

Honestly, I was completely lost in this class. We had students from different departments all gathered in the same hall, and the place was seriously choked up.
To make matters worse, the board was so far from where we were sitting, and the lecturer’s voice wasn’t audible enough. 😭😂 At some point, I was just looking around like, “What exactly is happening here?” 😂
But guess what? Your girl still had to stay and exist in that class regardless. 😂😭
Whether I understood anything or not, attendance had to attend! 😂😂 very important!!!

Another class another Opportunity to learn something new

So this css, after all the stress from the earlier class, I have another interesting session, grab your popcorn cause you about to learn, and have fun at same time 😂

It very interesting to see how coding works and on how different instructions can be used to make things happen on computer. I did computer training after my secondary school, learnt how to use Macon beacon, Ms word, Corel draw, excel sheet, and lots but coding is a discovery .💡

I may not become a programmer overnight 😂, but I believe there’s nothing wrong with learning something new. You never know which skill might become useful to you someday yes earn a digital skill very important.
As a student if there’s one thing I learnt is that education doesn’t always have to stop in your department. Sometimes, random things you learn along your way in university can actually be the only sustainable source income.

A ticket to luxury life 😂😭

Let’s not even start talking about money because student life and money are two different stories. 😂😭
Sometimes you receive money and already have a whole list of things you want to use it for. Before you know it, the money has disappeared like it never existed. 😂
As a student, I’ve learned that every naira has to be carefully planned because there is always something waiting to collect it. From transportation to food, school materials and other little expenses, the list just keeps coming. 😭😂
At this point, I don’t even ask where my money went anymore. I just pray it had a meaningful purpose frr I saw lots of Shege.

The little things that keeps me going

School? University it a different world entirely, am grateful for the opportunities right, a friend that keeps helping me out, ideas so we had a seminar and I honored the invitation, the woman was so interested in us having skill, she educate us on a lot of interesting topics, when I reach home I was thinking ohh I need to have a skill, I can not finish school and start job hunting Gfb !! So I pick interest in Ai content creation started class let’s see how fa, so I have learnt a bit I generate a beautiful human like images for my Ai storytelling

And that’s a little glimpse into my life as a university student. From getting lost in lectures 😂, to practicals, calculations, learning Python and trying to manage my money, student life really comes with different experiences.

It may not always be easy, but every day gives me something new to learn and another memory to keep.
