Steemit Challenge Season 29 Week 01 - Hardware store

There are a lot of hardware stores in my town because everyone needs what's sold in a hardware store for building, maintenance, and a lot more.

Having said so, among the hardware stores in my town, it is the Ogar Chidi hardware store that I visited. The hardware store is located along the Keffi-Abuja road and the Jos road. The store is closer to Akwanga old market which is very easy to locate.

The store is a one-man business, and it is still a local store as the store owner is still looking for finance to expand his business. Currently, at the time I visited the store, the only means of communication is through personal contact with the owner and not with his business contact.

Like I said, the store is still developing, and its activities are: the sale of building materials such as nails, wheelbarrow, rake, shovel, Zinc, padlock, paint, hammer and several hardware items.

The store deals mostly in building materials and household items. Also, it offers home services like sending a plumber or an electrician to the house of anyone who needs the service of an electrician or a plumber. This is done by the employees of the store based on the instructions of the owner. To this, only three employees are working in the store, and I would say the employees are under apprenticeship training.

The store is an open place, and from the pictures that I have shared, the security measures used to protect items in the store are very weak, as the store looks old and unkept. Also, the store depends on solar power for its electricity.

The accepted payment methods in the store, are cash deposit and bank transfer payment methods. Any other payment methods aside from these two payment methods are unacceptable in the store.

The store is a nice place to buy something from because of how friendly and nice the store owner is, but it would be nicer if the store owner could expand the store.
