New United Brothers is a well-known construction materials store located in the busy business environment of Dhaka's oil refinery area. This store has been serving the local people for many years with important construction materials like rods, cement, bricks, sand, and stones. The contribution of this store to various small and large construction works in the city is noticeable. Every morning, trucks, pickups, and workers are seen busy in front of the store. Being a construction materials store, there is always a working atmosphere here. All construction products, including rods, cement, sand, bricks, and stones, are sold wholesale and retail here. When I first walked into New United Brothers, I was impressed by the store's large warehouse and the array of construction materials. Rods were neatly stacked on one side, and cement bags were stacked on the other. There was a separate section of sand and stone in front of the store, so customers could easily find what they needed. The whole place had a bustling atmosphere, which indicated that many customers came here every day.

Rods are a very important material for construction work. Rods of various sizes are available in this shop. Rods are supplied as per the requirement for house construction, roof pouring, or any large building work. The shop employees advise the buyers about the quality and usage of the rods. Those who are building a new house can easily make the right decision. There is a digital scale for accurate measurement. Since the Buriganga River is next to the shop, construction materials can be easily transported by river at low cost. When I went to the river ghat next to the shop, workers were depositing construction materials from big boats into the store.

I have noticed that the people at the store are quite careful about storing cement. Because if cement is not stored properly, its quality deteriorates. So they keep the cement bags in a dry place and arrange for quick delivery.

Good quality bricks are very necessary in construction work, because the strength of the building largely depends on them. The shop has different types of bricks available. Sand and stone are also supplied in different qualities and quantities. These goods are delivered to different areas in large trucks. Many buyers get the benefit as the shop also has its own transportation system.

Even if someone is new or knows little about construction materials, they patiently explain things. This builds trust among the customers. I have seen many old customers regularly buy products from here. This is a testament to the trust people have in the shop.

The crowd is especially high during the morning and afternoon hours. However, despite this busyness, New United Brothers manages its work well. The store staff prepares orders quickly and tries to ship the products on time. There are online and offline facilities for payment. Wholesale buyers make payments through banks. All the bank branches of our country are located next to the store.
