The Diary Game: Nature's Reminder To Stay Patient And Thankful 24/2/2026

Hello everyone, how are you doing today , l hope everyone is doing well and pushing forward no matter challenges we should keep moving forward
Today I want to share something simple but beatuiful from my home. This bunch of plantains.
Sometimes we over look small things because they look ordinary but when I looked at the plantain , I felt so grateful and happy. Not everyone has access to fresh food and here l am able to enjoy nature's gift . It reminded me that life is not always about big achievement , sometimes it's about appreciating the little blessings around us.

Plantain are very important in our daily lives.
It gives us energy and can be eaten in different ways . You can eat them ripe, fry them , cook . In my area , plantain are affordable and easy to buy now , which makes them a common but valuable in my home
Some of the plantain , l notice something interesting . Some are fully ripe , some are still turning yellow and some are still a bit green . That teaches me a very big lesson of my life, we are all at different stages in life. Some people are already achieving their goals , some are still growing and some are just starting but just these plantain , everyone has their time to shine.

I carry my plantain outside so that I can wash it thoroughly to avoid dirty, when it comes to kitchen utensils, I don't joke with it because any mistake you can be infected. Personal hygiene is very important in every human being. After done washing the plantain, I put it inside the rubber and I added small salt to it , because any mistake it can be salty and you will not be able to eat it.

I wash my fry pan very thoroughly to avoid sand and I added my groundnut oil inside the fry pan and I leave it for some minutes to be hot , so that I put my plantain inside the oil. So ,I decided to slice the plantain into a nice shape and the shape giving me unique shape. I dish it for my family and my siblings to carry to the school and also eat for breakfast with tea and egg and I carry mine to the shop to eat it because I was late already to eat at home.
Nature teaches patience. Form planting harvesting takes time. The farmer must care for the plant , water it and wait patiently . In the same way our dreams require patience, consistently and effort. We may not see results immediately but with time , we will surely reap the reward.
This simple bunch of plantains reminded me to be thankful to trust the process and to never despise small beginnings. Every big result start from something small.
