Assalamu Alaikum, how are you? Today I want to talk about the pharmacy business. First of all, you need to plan for starting a pharmacy, what things you need to know to start a pharmacy business, Some subjects are mandatory and you need to plan around these subjects.
To start a pharmacy business, it is mandatory to have a pharmacist certificate first. So before opening a pharmacy, you should make sure that you have a pharmacist certificate. If you don't have one, you will have to take a pharmacist course.This course is given by Bangladesh Pharmacy Council circular every 6 months. You have to follow that circular. Especially, the circular is issued twice a year in January and July.
After seeing the circular, you have to apply online from the Pharmacy Council website. There are some conditions for applying online. Some documents have to be submitted.
A copy of a pharmacy's drug license, a certification letter from the owner of that pharmacy, and a copy of a national identity card are required.You will have to collect these and apply online. The Bangladesh Pharmacy Council charges about 5000 taka as admission fee while applying.
After that, if there are any vacant seats, you will get a chance to take the pharmacist course. Then you will have to attend classes regularly and after a few months of classes, there will be an exam. If you pass that exam, you will be given a certificate.And this certificate is the pharmacist certificate. Without this certificate, no one can provide pharmacy services. After obtaining the certificate, a place must be fixed for providing pharmacy services.
The place should be selected in such a way that it is on a roadside. However, the most suitable environment would be if the pharmacy can be located in front of or next to a clinic or diagnostic center.And if that is not possible, the pharmacy can be placed in a place where there is a large crowd, as close as possible to the clinic or diagnostic center. In this way, a specific place should be selected for the pharmacy.
If the place that is selected is owned by another owner, then you will have to rent it. Before renting, you will have to talk to the owner very well. For how many years will the rent be taken, how much money will be paid in advance, you will have to prepare a deed with everything.Once the deed is ready, it has to be prepared for the pharmacy according to the time and date. Then another important thing is the drug license. You have to apply for a drug license.And to apply for a drug license, you will need that pharmacist certificate. So it is important to have a pharmacist certificate first. And without a drug license, a pharmacy cannot be given.To legally operate a pharmacy, a pharmacist certificate and a drug license are a must. Without these two, the Consumer Affairs Department officials will fine you, so these are essential.
After this, you will need to contact the company representatives and talk to them.
Because each company's policy is different, you need to discuss it thoroughly with the representatives of each company and then order their company's products.One thing to keep in mind while ordering is that company representatives will want to sneak more and more products into pharmacies, so the products that are in high demand should be purchased first. This way, a pharmacy business will be started.
Now it will take a staff to run it. It is better to have at least 2 people in a pharmacy. Because running a pharmacy alone will be difficult. In addition, one person is needed just to manage the cash. Otherwise, running the pharmacy will become difficult.
