Location & How to Get There
Unimart Metro Shopping Mall is located in United City on Madani Avenue, just opposite United International University. To reach here, you can take a rickshaw from Notun Bazar for around BDT 40, or an auto-rickshaw for about BDT 15. From there, you need to come through the 100 Feet Road towards United City. After entering the main gate, walking approximately 500 meters will take you directly to Unimart Metro.

Brief History of Unimart
Unimart is one of the modern supermarket chains in Bangladesh, created with the vision of offering premium grocery items and international-standard products. The main goal of Unimart is to provide the people of Dhaka with a clean, reliable, and comfortable shopping experience.
Founder
Unimart is operated under United Group, one of the most well-known business conglomerates in Bangladesh. United Group has long been involved in sectors such as retail, education, real estate, and other industries. Unimart is an important retail initiative of this group.
Established
Unimart started its journey around 2013, initially launching its first outlet in Gulshan, Dhaka. Over time, it expanded to several key locations across the city. Currently, Unimart operates in different formats such as Unimart Super Shop, Unimart Metro, and Unimart Express.
Communication
Unimart maintains active communication through its official Facebook page and other social media platforms, where they regularly share updates, offers, and information about new products.
Activities & Employees
During my visit to Unimart, I noticed that the work is very well organized and clearly divided among staff members. This makes the overall shopping experience smooth and hassle-free. In total, around 20 employees work at this outlet, each assigned to specific roles:
There are 2 cash counters, each operated by 1 staff member, responsible for billing, payments, and quick customer service. About 6–7 employees manage product arrangements, stock checking, and assist customers in finding items.
Various grocery items
Around 3–4 staff members handle vegetables, fruits, and fresh items, ensuring quality and proper display. 2–3 staff members oversee overall operations, coordinate employees, and solve any issues.Some staff are assigned to cleanliness and general support to keep the environment pleasant.
Overall, there is a strong sense of teamwork among the employees, which makes shopping at Unimart comfortable and enjoyable.
Opening & Closing Time
Unimart usually remains open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM, and it also stays open on government holidays.
Facilities & Environment
The environment inside Unimart feels very comfortable. Electricity and lighting are always properly maintained, so shopping is never inconvenient. The air-conditioning makes it pleasant even during hot days.

The walking space inside the shop is spacious, and even during busy hours, moving around is easy. Products are well arranged, making it simple to find what you need, and staff assistance is available when required.

Although there is no large seating arrangement, there is enough space near the cash counter for waiting. The shop is clean, secured with CCTV cameras, and parking facilities are available. Overall, the facilities are designed according to customer needs.
Payment System
The payment system is very user-friendly. Customers can pay using cash, bKash, Nagad, other digital payment methods, and credit cards. This flexibility makes checkout quick and convenient.

Products I Purchased
I purchased a Mojo beverage, priced at BDT 50. The qualitu of this beverage was good. It was better than the Mojo drink that can be found in local stores.

Personal Review & Feedback
Overall, my experience at Unimart was very positive. The staff were polite, helpful, and always ready to assist when needed. The billing process was fast, so there was no unnecessary waiting. In general, I found their service satisfactory and pleasant, and I enjoyed shopping here.
