The theme of this week is Hardware Store, a place that plays an important role in our daily lives. Through this post, I would like to participate as an attentive reviewer by sharing a local hardware store that supports the needs of the surrounding community and adds value to the Steem Atlas project.

Not far from my house, about 500 meters away,there is a hardware store called ARS Sejahtera. The Store is located in Panggoi, on the roadside Medan - Banda Aceh, Lhokseumawe. The store is easy to access because it is directly on the roadside. Motorcycles and cars can stop easily, making it convenient for daily shopping and construction needs.

The store consists of three shop doors. The left and right sides are used as storage areas for large building materials such as cement, zinc sheets, and other big items. The middle section is the main operational area where customers are served, payments are made, and smaller items are displayed.

This hardware store is owned by a retired employee of PT Mobil Oil. I often meet him at Al-Hidayah Mosque, Panggoi Bawah, so we already know each other well. Because of this good relationship, I have shopped at this store several times before. Honestly, when I came yesterday to review the store, the owner was not at the shop. Because of that, I felt a little hesitant to take the best shots for my review.

Although the exact year of establishment is not recorded, the store has been operating since around 2010 or later. The business is family-run and managed by the owner’s children and son-in-law. The owner himself often comes to the shop and serves customers, which creates a friendly and trustworthy atmosphere.

The store is operated by around three people, including family members. They handle customer service, sales, and product arrangement. A unique feature of this store is 2 pedicabs driver who stays in front of the shop and helps deliver purchased items to customers’ homes.

ARS Sejahtera has a modern paint mixing machine, allowing customers to mix paint colors accurately. Electricity is available throughout working hours, and the store layout is simple and well organized. Delivery service using pedicab is very helpful, especially for nearby customers.

The store sells common building materials such as zinc roofing sheets, nails, wood, plywood, cement, and various paints. Prices are reasonable and suitable for local buyers. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer.

This photo was taken before the flood happened. At that time, I decided to renovate the front terrace of my house because the old roof was already damaged and rotten. The zinc sheets and wooden structure were weak and no longer safe.For renovating my front house terrace, I purchased the following materials:

If I had been late to fix it, something bad might have happened. During that week, heavy rain fell in Aceh for several days. With the condition of the old terrace, the roof could have collapsed or caused danger to my family when the rain and strong wind came.
