Assalamu'alaikum my stemian friends.
In this post, I would like to share a small grocery store located very close to my home. About 50 meters from my house, which plays an important role in daily life around my neighborhood. The third week of Steemit Challenge Season 29, organized by @solaymann and @miftahulrizky as the Steem Atlas team, with the theme “Grocery Store.”

The Story

Thara Cell was first opened around 2014 located in the Panggoi Indah residential area. In the beginning, this shop focused mainly on mobile phone services, such as selling SIM cards, phone credit top-ups, and basic communication needs. At that time, mobile services were in high demand, especially in residential areas where people needed easy access to phone credit without having to travel far.
As time passed, the owner of Thara Cell saw changes in customer needs. More residents moved into the area, and daily household necessities became just as important as mobile services. Slowly but surely, the store began to grow.

From the outside, the store looks simple and modest. There is no esthetic decoration, but once you step inside, you can see that the space is well organized. Even though the shop is not large, the owner makes good use of every corner. Shelves are filled with daily necessities, making it easy for customers to find what they need.

Thara Cell started adding small household items to its shelves. At first, it was only basic goods, but the response from customers was very positive. People appreciated having a nearby store where they could buy both phone credit and daily necessities in one place.
Seeing this opportunity, the owner continued to develop the shop. Over the years, Thara Cell expanded its product range to include rice, cooking oil, eggs, snacks, drinks, LPG gas, gallon drinking water, light bulbs, ice blocks, and more except vegetables. In addition, services such as electricity token sales, mobile credit top-ups, and cash withdrawal services were added to better serve the community.

Today, Thara Cell functions almost like a small minimarket, even though the shop itself is not very large. Its growth reflects the needs of the surrounding community and the dedication of the owner to adapt and improve over time.
The history of Thara Cell is a simple but inspiring story of gradual progress. From a small mobile service shop in 2014 to a neighborhood grocery store today, Thara Cell continues to be an important part of daily life for residents in Panggoi Indah.

At Thara Cell, the store is usually managed directly by the owner named Taufik, who often sits at the cashier desk and serves customers personally. At other times, the responsibility is shared with his son, and occasionally his wife also helps when needed. This family-based management creates a warm and familiar atmosphere for customers.
The service at Thara Cell is fast and friendly. Customers are assisted efficiently, whether they are purchasing daily household items or using available services such as electricity tokens, mobile credit top-ups, money transfers through the BSI agent, or cash withdrawals.

What makes the service even better is the extra help provided for heavier items. When customers buy rice, gallon drinking water, or LPG gas, the owner’s son usually helps carry and load the items onto the customer’s motorcycle or car. This small gesture shows genuine care and makes shopping much easier, especially for elderly customers or those buying in large quantities.

One thing I really appreciate about this store is its convenience. When we suddenly run out of kitchen supplies or need something quickly, we don’t have to travel far. Just a short walk is enough. This kind of small grocery store truly supports daily life in residential areas.

Although it is small, this grocery store adds value to the Steem Atlas by representing a real, everyday place that supports the local community. It may not look special at first glance, but for the people living nearby, it is an important part of daily routines.

Thara Cell starts operating in the morning at around 7:30 AM and remains open until 10:00 PM. The store serves customers throughout the day with consistent service.
During Maghrib time, the shop temporarily closes for about 40 minutes to allow time for prayer. After that, Thara Cell reopens and continues serving customers until closing time at night.

In conclusion, Thara Cell may not be a large store, but it plays an important role in daily life for the people living around Panggoi Indah. With complete household products, useful daily services, friendly and helpful service, and flexible payment options, this small shop truly functions like a neighborhood minimarket.
