To Be Honest

Do you agree that being honest is costly? Has it ever caused some e.g pain or regret?

Honest is to be sincere and genuine so that people in your immediate environment can trusted you. I feel regret when I sincerely tell the truth or be honest to someone, because people may likely take you for granted. And they may also think all way round as if you want to use them to get what you want.

I have experience this countless number of time of being regretful as if I know I should not tell the truth to this person because once you tell them they would mention your name and reveal what you told them to another person.

Can you be honest without hurting people's feelings?

Yes of course, I do not like to directly blame people if they do me wrong thing but I would use kind word so that they can easily understand what I tried to pass to them.

I would also put myself in their position through the listen to their different opinions because it good to listening to their perspective because it show that I respect them for not hurting their feeling, after they finished talking we must wait to ask for our opinion, doing this we allow them to put their trust in us.

Have you ever told a lie to protect someone?

I do that in some cases because in the place where I live, people do not mind their own business. They would expose your hidden secrets, and once they know, they begin to spread them. Even some people would meet me alone and ask what type of job this person is doing that allows them to live large and where they get the money to buy a car.

I would say to myself, 'Hmm,' because it looks disgusting. Even if I know that it should not be right to leak his secret, I would rather tell them something else entirely so that they can have a different perspective on that.

Is it okay to keep a secret if it could hurt someone?

We should keep people's secrets, especially our friends', because they would not be happy if their secrets are leaked. If members of the public have heard the whole story, such a person may find it difficult to move around, and the person who leaked that secret would not be trusted again.

Secrets are confidential; once they are leaked, they hurt people's emotional feelings, which may put them in a regretful position, and they would say it is better to keep it within myself.
