From A Rainy Day To A Bowl Of Afang Soup

As early as 6 am, I was awake. I decided to join this church close to my house for morning prayers. When I came back, I did my normal workouts. One needs t be physically fit,you know? And then, I had my bath and was ready for the day. I saw the weather forecast in my phone and it said it was actually going to rain today. Well, it actually did.

I got a call from one of my friends saying she'll like to see and we should meet at one popular sitout close to school. I was in the middle of preparation,when it began to drizzle.well after a while,it stopped and I had to step out.I didn't even get to the junction when it started drizzling again.thia time around,it was more serious than the first one.What made it more challenging and annoying was the fact that there were no tricycles available at the moment. And the rain made it worse too.

I met with my friend who was already there and we began gisting.I didn't even spend up to 30minutes when I got a call from my brother.He said he noticed my absence on Whatsapp and told me to come online.Well,I told my friend to give me a moment let me respond to his message. He told me my cousin wanted to order afang soup.You're surprised right? Well, I do cook based on order.You place order and I make your meal available. So I told him my price list and in no distant time,he sent the money to my account.As much as friendship is valuable, duty comes first to me.I told my friend the situation on ground and she knows I don't joke with business and money.

I passed from there to the market. I made the list of things to buy while inside the tricycle. Soon,I was in the market. I first got the water leaf,fish,goat meat and the afabg leaf itself.All these didn't go without pricing. Trust the African woman in me,lol.

Soon,I was on my home and got everything ready for the soup.In no distant time,the soup was ready. The aroma filled the air and my neighbors were telling me to have pity in them,lol. I messaged my brother and told him the soup was ready and he said he was already on his way to pick it up.

Well,that was how I basically spent my day: From a rainy day to preparing a bowl of Afang soup. So I can say,today was a busy one. Even though I had not planned on doing anything particular today,I got to make money.
