SLC-S31/W2-“Creative Interpretation| The Phrase (Almost There)”
Hello Teaching Team |
|---|
Hello My Steemain Friends ,
Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S31- W2: which is all time my favourite topic ""Creative Interpretation| The Phrase (Almost There)”" this amazing challenge organised by @ninapenda .
Create a piece inspired by the phrase “Almost There.” |
|---|
When I got married, I arrived at my in-laws' home dreaming of a blissful journey; yet, as easy as it may seem, every path is strewn with pebbles, —beset by the piercing gazes of relatives who constantly seek out your flaws, and whose words inflict deep wounds upon the soul.
Later it, as our children grow up, it feels as though our hardships have all but ended, instilling in us the hope that only a few trials remain in our lives. Along this path, we come to realize just how arduous the journey has truly been.
How did we endure all these difficulties? Our eyes were filled with tears, and our hearts with deep anguish. Yet, the hope persists that days of happiness will surely arrive—days when we will be able to declare, "This world belongs to me." A world where my feelings will be valued; where I will no longer have to face harsh, critical stares; where I will not have to constantly justify myself; where I will suffer no further humiliation. Sustained by this very hope, I have nearly completed my journey. The thread of happiness and dreams is now just about to slip into my hands.
Is your interpretation positive, negative, or mixed? Explain. |
|---|
My interpretation is laced with mixed emotions, for it contains pain, hope, and dreams. We can only endure hardship when we have hope. Without hope, these hardships are much harder to bear. My journey of struggle also brought many joys, which gave me the strength to overcome those difficult times.
Because they say, even a sliver of hope is enough, and only your own people give you that hope. These kinds of bittersweet feelings run through every family. But good people are tested in times of suffering.
There are some feelings for which words are not enough. If you try to express your feelings in words, you might not even find the words.
When we are facing hardships, we set a goal, thinking that if we achieve this, all our suffering will go away. As we slowly move towards that goal, our courage and happiness double, and we become convinced that the suffering is almost over. Now there will be only happiness.
What does “almost” teach about patience or persistence |
|---|
The word "almost" teaches us about patience. There is hope, so be patient. The suffering is almost over, so hope itself gives patience.
Perseverance teaches us to be courageous, that good times will come. Because I always say that without hope, life becomes very difficult. It is with this hope that a person can pass even the most difficult exams, giving them the courage to believe that today they can do it. Continue moving towards your goal with determination, no matter how many difficulties there are. Because when the goal is in sight, one must keep moving forward; this is what perseverance always teaches.
Therefore, one must keep moving towards one's goal with patience and perseverance. Because the fruits of patience are sweet.
Share a personal or imagined scenario that connects to your piece. |

I will tell you a real incident related to my work. A family lives near our shop, consisting of a mother and two sons. While the eldest son was studying and preparing for the CA exam, his father died, and the responsibility of the household fell on his shoulders. He spent one to two years managing household.
Then, with great courage, the eldest son began preparing for the CA exam. His mother and younger brother supported him immensely in this endeavor. With the hope that now only about two years of studies are left. If this studies are completed then our dreams will be fulfilled. Younger brother and mother took over the shop, giving time to the elder sons to complete their studies.
Her hope, her wait was almost over, she waited for this every moment and her wait ended when her son passed the CA final exam with good marks. The dreams she had seen, the hopes she had placed, were fulfilled. If her son continues to pass regularly then her pain will soon end.
I want to invite my friends to take part in this contest: , @lirvic , @selina1 , @bdwomen"
Thankyou 🙏
