THE DIARYGAME: 10-01-2026, REDEDICATION SERVICE UNITES FAITHFUL AT QUA IBOE CHURCH OKON IKOT ABASI SUPERINTENDENCY
The service was presided over by the Area Chairman of Qua Iboe Church Ikot Abasi Area Conference, Revd. (Dr.) John Johnson. With passion and conviction, Revd. Johnson rededicated all attending members and guests, emphasizing the importance of renewed commitment to Christian values in today's world. "We must recommit ourselves to living out our faith with boldness and authenticity," he declared.
Delivering the sermon on the theme "Manifesting Jesus," drawn from 2 Corinthians 4:10, Revd. Johnson inspired the congregation with a message centered on embodying Christ's presence in daily life. "We are called to carry the life of Jesus in our bodies, making His light visible amid the challenges we face," he preached. "As Christians, we must manifest Jesus in our words, actions, and deeds, reflecting His love and compassion to a world in need."
The reverend encouraged attendees to live out their faith authentically and boldly, trusting in God's strength and guidance. He reminded them that manifesting Jesus is not just about words, but about actions – actions that demonstrate love, kindness, and compassion to those around us.
The service featured a dedicated prayer session led by Revd. Johnson, where participants sought divine guidance and blessings for their communities. The congregation prayed for the strength to overcome challenges, for wisdom to navigate life's complexities, and for the courage to stand firm in their faith.
As the service drew to a close, Revd. Johnson pronounced the benediction, leaving the assembly with a sense of hope and unity. The congregation departed with renewed commitment to their faith, inspired to manifest Jesus in all aspects of their lives.
The rededication service was a powerful reminder of the importance of recommitting ourselves to our faith and living out our values in a world that desperately needs Jesus.
As the congregation returned to their communities, they were equipped to shine the light of Christ, making a difference in the lives of those around them.
The event was a testament to the vibrant faith community of Qua Iboe Church Okon-Ikot Abasi Superintendency, and a celebration of their commitment to serving God and their community. May they continue to manifest Jesus in all they do, bringing glory to God and hope to those around them
