The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation (AKICORP), Mr. Imo-Abasi Jacob, has urged staff to be diligent and proactive in their work. Represented by Mr. Usen Effiong, Executive Director, Other Investments, the MD/CEO emphasized AKICORP's commitment to excellence and encouraged staff to maintain the high standard.

During the monthly "Happy Hour" celebration, Mr. Effiong highlighted the importance of hard work and its rewarding outcomes. He also stressed the need for staff to prioritize their well-being, noting that a healthy staff is a productive staff.

Furthermore, Mr. Effiong expressed appreciation to Governor Pastor Umo Eno for introducing the Happy Hour initiative, which fosters a sense of community and celebrates life within the corporation. He requested staff to pray for the Governor, for more grace and wisdom to making Akwa Ibom State an entrepreneural center

In line with AKICORP's values, staff were encouraged to share their challenges, trusting that the corporation's family spirit would address them with love and peace. Celebrants, including Mr. Bassey Effiong Asuquo and Mrs. Elizabeth Ime Johnny, expressed gratitude for the MD/CEO's efforts to celebrate staff and saw the event as divinely ordained.
