Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week125: Love is in the Air

Every line felt intentional, last year valentine's day my man got me a phone and also bought some clothing ,the best gifts I have ever gotten on valentine's day was given to me by my man. I planned a calm day with no distractions, good food, long talks,laughter and then creating good memories.

Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be only for couples because when we do like that we are making the single depressed which can cause emotional trauma and heart break .Love is far bigger than romance, and reducing it to just one type of relationship actually misses the whole point of the day.

Yes, romantic love is beautiful and deserves to be celebrated and valued Couples exchanging gifts, spending quality time, and expressing affection but that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate it with singleness because if we only celebrate with couples it can make the single or those who have been heartbroken to be oppressed.

So valentine day should be celebrated with love one's. When valentine's day is celebrated with everyone it becomes a day of kindness, appreciation, and connection. It becomes a time to check on people because everyone are human and everyone has to enjoy themselves either openly (partying) or privately (indoor) .....

I will starts by setting up a place where I will call my friends ,lovely ones and I will start with a soft and cool music, buy drink look for an artist that will perform that day to entertain my friend and my partner.

After eating and popping Champaign with a deep conversation with my partner, we revisit memories on how we have been playing, love plays , pictures together, writing, cooking, dreaming out loud about the future. Laughing at random things. Being fully present.

During this day good food, soft music, No crowd, no noise. Just connection. Honest talks, shared silence, comfortable closeness can be shared among people I celebrate with.

Though people nowadays think valentine's day is just all about money but for me love shoud be considered most important because money alone without love is wasted, you can have money but if you are living in a toxic relationship you will not be happy, you will look so worried and frustrated in your relationship, so, we need to value love more than money so that we can live happily with our partner.
