Love Don't Cost A Thing
What's the craziest thing you've ever done for love? Was it worth it? |
|---|
The craziest thing have ever done for love is travelling to a far distance to spend time with my partner, suspending what was to be done at a particular time just so I can be with him and providing the necessary things that a lady in love can help her man without him asking. Love feels like breathing effortless, natural, and impossible to stop.
Another craziest thing I have ever done for love was allowing my partner to know my ATM pin and spending on him without considering if it was right or wrong or wondered if we will end up been together forever, giving advice and playing wife duties when I was just a girlfriend 😂, these are the craziest thing I have ever done for my partner.
What does "love" mean to you? |
|---|
Love to me is a conscious choice to cherish, support, and respect someone unconditionally, acting as a partnership built on trust and shared growth. It is finding a safe place ,a best friend, peace of mind and a genuine lover. Love means choosing someone repeatedly, embracing their imperfections, and value , respect their happiness as important to my own. It is patience, kindness, and commitment to fight or go through life’s storms together, ensuring that even in silence, there is a peaceful connection. It is the happiness of knowing you belong.
With everything going on, do you still believe in love? Why? |
|---|
Yes, I still believe in love, but maybe not in a deeper way. I see it as a choice to care for someone, even on bad days. It’s hard work, loyalty, sincerity and honesty. True love is about respect, friendship, care and showing up. No matter how many times the heart ache, I will always believe in true love because we still have genuine and sincere people when it comes to love out there ,but it requires patience and time to find the right one.
Is it possible to love someone without doing anything "big" or "special" for them? |
|---|
Yes, it is possible to love someone without doing anything big or special for the person . Infact true and enduring love is often built on quiet, consistent and everyday acts of affection.
Love exists in everyday or daily actions towards the person he or she loves, listening without distractions, sharing a laugh, giving a comforting hug and been present. Love is found in empathy, understanding, and supporting someone through life’s challenges. While doing something special are nice, they are not lasting. It is the normal way of caring, remembering to check on the person, showing patience, and offering kindness and that creates a deep, lasting bond.
What's the difference between doing something for love and doing something out of obligations? |
|---|
Doing something for love is desire, joy, and emotional connection, focusing on maintaining and caring for the relationship without expecting anything in return. It is natural, feelings and willingness . While doing something out of obligation is more like a duty, guilt, or fear, often feeling like a burden or a daily thing to do for someone. Love is desire ,a choice, willingly, joyful, requires no effort, just emotionally connecting.
Obligation is duty , necessary, burdensome, lacks emotional warmth, done to meet expectations.
Love acts to make someone happy, while obligation acts to fulfill a role. I
therefore invite @bossj23 @peacemike to participate in the contest.

Please explain to me how is that you and @dhizy Link have written exactly everything words for words?
Cc: @xkool24
I think there's a misunderstanding here, from my own end because @dhizy is is my boyfriend and we wrote this contest together yesterday. He was sharing thoughts with me and I also told him things I did for love to a very great extent. I didn't even realise that I copied his own writeup and post without using mine. Mine is here with me and didn't even notice that oversight.
I thought of messaging you first before editing anything. It's my own error. Should I submit my own personal entry and delete this one as I didn't know it was @dhizy's own he sent to me on WhatsApp to read that I copied without even checking.
This is not only unavoidable but unnecessary. Be guided accordingly and avoid unethical acts that could undermine your blogging skills.
