WHAT SEWING HAS TAUGHT ME ABOUT PATIENCE AND PEOPLE.
Before I learned sewing, I thought fashion was only about style and looking good.
But since I started working as a tailor, I’ve learned that sewing teaches much deeper lessons.
Every day in my workshop reminds me that patience is key. Measuring, cutting, stitching, fixing mistakes,

everything takes time. Rushing the process often leads to errors, and in sewing, small mistakes can be very costly.
Working with customers has also taught me a lot about people. Everyone has different tastes, body shapes, and expectations. Some customers know exactly what they want, while others rely on my advice and experience.
There are days when work feels stressful, especially when deadlines are close. But when I see a finished outfit come together perfectly, it gives me a sense of satisfaction that’s hard to explain.
Sewing has become more than a skill for me.
It’s a daily reminder to slow down, pay attention to details, and respect the process.
Thank you for reading. I’m grateful for every lesson this journey continues to teach me.
