The diary game:9/9/26 The release of NFCS executives from abductors & daily routine day.

Greetings, everyone. Welcome to another episode of "How I Spent My Day." I woke up today feeling very energetic for the day's activities. Then I said my morning prayers and did my morning routine. After that, I went for morning Mass, but after the prayers, the chapel prefect announced that Mass would be in the evening. I wasn't really happy because I had already prepared for the morning Mass. So, I went back to the hostel to sleep until dawn.

I woke up again at 7:18 a.m., submitted my flask at the refectory, and dressed up for morning assembly. At exactly 7:45 a.m., assembly started, and we were addressed by the Student Union Government Vice President. After that, I went to class, but it was really scanty. So the lecturer asked those sitting at the back to come forward so they could hear her because she was being observed by her supervisor for teaching practice. Honestly, the woman was really tense while she was teaching, but we also cooperated with her and gave her our full attention in class.

On Monday, 7th September 2026, our NFCS President and the Assistant Chaplain of the Owerri Archdiocese were reported missing, and no one knew their whereabouts. The abductors were also demanding a ransom of 50 million naira for their release. So we started praying for them and donating funds in our own little way. Then on 9th September 2026, it was announced that they had been released by their abductors in good health, both in mind and body. I really give glory to God that the abductors did not take their lives. Please, everyone, be vigilant and stay safe. God help us all.
