What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?

One of the toughest moments I faced while learning fashion design was when I spent weeks creating a garment for a presentation, only to realize at the last minute that several parts were poorly fitted and needed major adjustments. After investing so much time, effort, and Money, seeing my work fall short was discouraging. I felt overwhelmed and questioned whether I was talented enough to succeed in fashion design.

The pressure was intense because deadlines were approaching, and starting over seemed impossible. There were moments when I wanted to give up completely. Instead, I decided to stay focused, seek advice from more experienced designers, and spend extra hours practicing and correcting my mistakes. It meant many late nights, constant revisions, and learning from every error.

How has this tough time changed what you value most?

This tough time has changed what I value most in life. Before I focused a lot on achievement, opportunities, and trying to keep everything under control, but going through difficult moments taught me that some of the most important things cannot be measured by success or materials possessions. I now value peace of mind more than constant pressure. I have learned that protecting my mental and emotional wellbeing is just as important as chasing goals.

I also value the people who genuinely stand by me during hard times. Challenges have a way of revealing who truly cares, and those relationships becomes priceless. I thank most especially my girlfriend who supported me emotionally because things where very hard with me in such a way I almost gave up in everything. Most importantly, tough times strengthened my appreciation for resilience. I discovered that I am capable of enduring more than I thought possible. Today I value peace, genuine relationship and personal growth and the ability to keep moving forward no matter what life brings.

What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?

A small win I have recently that felt huge was successfully selling a batch of clothing materials. It might seem like a simple sale, but it meant a lot to me because of the effort, patience, and dedication trust. Seeing people appreciate the quality of the materials and choose to buy from me gave me a sense of accomplishment and motivation.

The sale not only brought in income but also boosted my confidence in my ability to grow my business. It reminded me that every customers gained and every products sold is a step forward. This experience taught me that success doesn't always come from one big breakthrough sometimes it's the small victories that keep you motivated and moving towards bigger goals.

What's a new perspective you've gained in life or yourself?

A new perspective I have gained in life is that progress is often built through consistency rather than big breakthrough. There were times when I felt that success would come from one major opportunity or a single perfect decision, but experience has shown me that small actions repeated every day create the biggest results.

I have also learned that challenges are not always obstacles, sometimes they are lessons in disguise. Difficult seasons taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of adapting when things don't go as planned. Instead of seeing setback as failure, I now see it as opportunities. This perspective has helped me appreciate the journey more, celebrate small victories, and focus on becoming a better version of myself each day rather than comparing my progress to others. I therefore invite @christabella, @bossj23, @peacemike to participate in the contest.
