Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week125: Love is in the Air
What's the best Valentine's gift you've gotten or given, and why did you love it? |
|---|
It was special because it wasn’t rushed, Every line felt intentional, like my girlfriend took time to really see me. She gave me and android phone and that have been my best gifts since valentine's day has been celebrated every year last year was the best valentine's day I have experienced before she made me happy and I will continue to Love and be with her.
On the giving side, the best one I’ve given was I Gave her a vintage materials to sow. I planned a calm day with no distractions, good food, long talks, and laughter. No pressure, just presence. That kind of memory sticks longer than roses.
Should Valentine's be just for couples, or should we celebrate it with everyone? |
|---|
Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be locked inside the box of “couples only.” Love is far bigger than romance, and reducing it to just one type of relationship actually misses the whole point of the day. Yes, romantic love is beautiful and deserves to be celebrated. Couples exchanging gifts, spending quality time, and expressing affection but that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate it with single because if we only celebrate with couples it can make the single or those who have been heartbroken to be oppress
If Valentine’s Day is only for couples, it unintentionally makes single people, widows, widowers, or those healing from heartbreak feel left out. Love is not a privilege reserved for people in relationships. Everyone experiences love in different forms, and every form is valid.
Celebrating Valentine’s with everyone reminds us that love is inclusive, not selective. When we celebrate with everyone, Valentine’s becomes a day of kindness, appreciation, and connection. It becomes a time to check on people because everyone are human and everyone has to enjoy themselves with the party not just only for the couple only
Love is what holds society together. It teaches patience, empathy, forgiveness, and unity. When Valentine’s Day embraces all kinds of love, it sends a powerful message: you are seen, you are valued, and you matter whether you’re in a relationship or not.
If you could design your perfect Valentine’s what would it look like? |
|---|
I will starts slow no rushing, no loud expectations. I'll wake up to gentle music and popping Champaign,Just smiles, quiet jokes, that will calm the mind of my girlfriend and the people I celebrate with.
After eating and popping Champaign with a deep conversation with my partner we revisit memories on how we have been playing love plays taking pictures together writing, cooking, dreaming out loud about the future. Laughing at random things. Being fully present.
During this day good food, soft music, No crowd, no noise. Just connection. Honest talks, shared silence, comfortable closeness can be shared among people I celebrate with.
Is Valentine’s Day just about money or can it still be about love? |
|---|
Though people nowadays think valentine's day is just all about money but for me love should be valued more than money because money isn't everything why? Because you can be in a relationship with money but if there is no love it is vanity because you will be disturbed, no peace of mind no respect for each other.
Lastly when we focus on emotion more than money it makes valentine' s day celebrated with peace and harmony without conflict .
I therefore invite @bossj23, @peace mike and @frequantum to participate in the contest.
