“The Value of Time”
Why do you think time is considered more valuable than money? |
|---|
Time is often considered more valuable than Money because, unlike money, it is limited and irreversible. Once time passes, you can never get it back, no matter how rich or powerful you are, money on the other hand can be lost and regained. Another reason is that time is the foundation of everything else. To earn money, build relationships, learn skills, or achieve goals, you must invest time.
Without time, money has little meaning because you need time to enjoy what money can provide. Time also has a personal growth, and life experiences cannot be bought with money. For example, missing an important events or opportunity can leave lasting regret, even if you have wealth. Lastly time forces us to prioritise what truly matters money can be earned again but time cannot be replaced.
Share an experience when you felt you wasted time or used your time wisely. What did you learn from it? |
|---|
There was a time I felt I truly wasted my time. I had an entire day free, and instead of doing something meaningful, I spent most of it scrolling through social media watching videos, and chatting without purpose. At the end of the day , I felt tired but not fulfilled. I was tired of what to do productive for myself.
That feeling of emptiness made me realize that being busy is not the same as being productive. On the other hand, I have also had days where I used my time wisely. One particular day, I planned my activities focusing on writing songs, learning new things and then rest and connect to people who matter. At the end of the day I felt proud of myself that I have achieved something.
What I learnt from these experiences is that time should be spent with intention, not just activities. Small consistent efforts matters more than long hours of distraction. Planning your day even a little can make a big difference. Rest also is important, but it should be balanced with productivity. I also learned that how to spend time and feel about my life.
What are some ways people can manage their time better in daily life? |
|---|
Managing time better isn't about being busy all day, it's about being intentional with how you spend your hours. Plan your day ahead by starting your day with a simple plan. Write what to achieve by having a proper direction. Also set clear priorities, focus on what truly matters first before less important activities.
Break task can feel overwhelming and lead to procrastination very important because it fails when you keep procrastinating. Divide your plans into smaller, manageable parts so you can start easily. Things like social media, unnecessary chatting, or too much drinking and talking can quietly waste time. Try set limit or specify time for them.
Sometimes we waste time trying to please everyone. Protect your time by turning down things that don't align with your goals. Rest is important, but control it, short breaks can refresh your mind without destroying your schedule, you can always ask yourself at the end what have I achieved? Good time management can also help gives you good and productive day.
If you could go back in time to change one decision in your life, what would it be and why? |
|---|
If I could go back and change one decision, it would be choosing comfort over growth at certain point in life. I take my opportunity, and face challenges but it will be scary to take the risk. it is also easy to stay where things feel safe. I would go back back and take that step I hesitated on, whether it is learning a new skill earlier, speaking up more, or pursuing something I truly cared about without fear or failure. I therefore invite @bossj23, @peacemike and @ blessed to participate in the contest.

¡Holaaa amigo!🤗
Time is truly the most precious thing because it never comes back. Money can be re-earned. Time lost is never recovered. You are absolutely right that it is important to use time purposefully, not just to be busy. Your experiences teach that small and consistent steps can lead to big success. Indeed managing time is vital to growth and happiness in life.
