THE DIARY GAME: 8TH JUNE, 2026 | From a Normal Day to Unexpected Stress

Today I woke up feeling very tired because honestly the sleep I had was not enough. My body wanted more sleep but I had no choice than to carry myself up and start preparing for the day.I stood up, did some house chores, and started getting ready for work.

Luckily, I still had enough time, so I decided to trek to my junction instead of rushing.When I got to the junction, I entered a car going my direction and headed to work.

Getting to work, my colleagues were already around because the plan was to make another colleague’s hair, so they came early and had already done some cleaning.I still joined and did some touching up because work is work.After cleaning, the day started normally.

They continued making the hair but midway into it, one of our bosses came around and they had to stop immediately.So the hair had to wait.

Since work was not really busy today and there were not many clients coming for inspection or snapping cars, I had enough free time.I continued my Excel class and my SQL class too.

Thankfully, my colleague assisted me and allowed me to use her system, which made learning easier today.The classes were actually going well and I was enjoying them.

Later in the afternoon, rain started falling.Everybody started looking for shelter and we entered one of the enclosed cars.

But honestly I could not breathe inside.The place felt too hot and closed up for me, so I had to come outside and just stand where I could get fresh air while waiting for the rain to reduce.

After the rain stopped, another thing happened.Our bosses had an issue.And when I say issue, I mean serious issue.The atmosphere became so tense and there was shouting everywhere. Everybody was uncomfortable because once bosses start arguing, the whole workplace somehow feels awkward.

Thankfully, after some time they left early.At that point, I thought the day was finally ending.But because my colleagues had not finished the hair, they decided to continue.Little did we know the real stress was still ahead.

By around 8:30 p.m., we finally decided to stop because it was getting late and my house is far from work.We got to our normal junction and waited for a car.No car.

So we entered keke to another junction hoping to get transport.Luckily we saw a car and entered.But just about five minutes into the journey the car stopped, no fuel l.And the worst part was there was no filling station nearby.

At that point I was already tired and just wanted to reach home.Thankfully another car came and we entered.I finally got to my junction, took a bike, and headed home.Getting home, my auntie already gave me food for dinner and honestly that meal felt like reward after the long day.

Today started as a normal calm day but somehow ended with stress, rain, transport wahala and unexpected drama.But at leastI finally made it home
