*Describe an idea, plan, or decision (yours or someone else’s) that failed.*

There are some decisions in life that seem so strong, optimistic and right. Then with the time they prove to be failures. One such decision was made by my sister in her life, which felt very right at the time but later the results were not as expected.
My sister decided to start a small online business after completing her studies. They believed that if they work hard, give time and work with sincerity, success will surely come. In the beginning everything was going well. Orders were pouring in, people were appreciating. The families were encouraging. This was the stage where everyone felt that the decision was correct.

But with the time problems started to surface. My sister had started the business, but had not fully planned it. The market was not properly researched. The costs were not accurately estimated. Then above all, they did not have a backup plan. As competition increased, orders began to dwindle, and financial pressure increased.
There came a time when sister had to decide to close that business. This moment was very difficult for him. They felt as if all their hard work, time and dreams had been wasted. Feelings of failure, people questioning, and self-doubt all came together. But this failure did not break my sister but taught her. She learned that a good idea is not enough. It also requires proper planning, patience and realistic thinking. They acknowledged their mistakes, gave themselves time. Then decided to move forward with renewed vigor.
Today when I look at that decision. I realize that failure is not always the end but often a new beginning. Although the decision of sister didn't work out. It taught her a valuable life lesson and us, too.

*What was the original intention behind it?Why do you think it failed?*

The original intention behind this decision was that sister could become independent in her life and use her talents in a positive direction. She wanted them not to depend only on a job but to create something on their own, establish their own identity and turn their dreams into reality. Her intention was neither greed nor the desire to get rich quick, but sincerity, hard work and self-confidence. She believed that if the intention is pure and the hard work is true, then success is sure to come.
I think this decision failed because the intention was right, but the practical preparation was not complete. There was a lack of planning, a poor understanding of the market, and no pre-planned strategy for potential pitfalls.
In addition, decisions were made on emotion, with little realist analysis. Over time, competition increased, costs spiraled out of control, and when problems arose, there was no alternative way to handle them. All these reasons together lead to the failure of this decision.

*What would you do differently if given another chance?*

If given the chance again first of all I will avoid haste and plan thoroughly before taking any decision. I will conduct in-depth market research, realistically estimate costs and potential losses, and develop a strong backup plan so that there is a way to cope in case of difficulties. At the same time, I will try to better understand my abilities and limitations. I will seek advice from experts and value learning from the experiences of others, so as not to repeat the mistakes that have been made before.
Above all, I will make decisions with wisdom and patience rather than emotion, because I have learned that success comes not only from hard work, but from hard work in the right direction.
