SLC-S31/W1-“Creative Interpretation| The Word (Invisible)”.

in Steem4Nigeria12 days ago

In every person's life, there are forces that cannot be seen but are deeply felt. In this creative competition organized by @ninapenda , I am sharing my personal interpretation of "Invisible" through my own experiences.

When I get tired of the thousands of worries of managing my work and family in the busy life of the city, I feel like I am trapped by an invisible wall. Depression is an invisible enemy that cannot be seen, but eats people up from the inside. I personally realized that to get rid of this invisible enemy, the help of an invisible force that has no boundaries is needed.

I have noticed that when I observe voluntary fasts every Monday and Thursday, my body and soul are purified. When I stand up for the five daily prayers, all the noise of the outside world becomes invisible to me.

When I surrender all my troubles to the Creator in that prostration or prayer, a strange peace descends upon my heart. This peace is invisible to the eyes, but it is the invisible shield that protects me from all negativity. It is my strength to survive.

Explain what “invisible” represents in your interpretation.

In my interpretation, the word "invisible" represents the spiritual peace of the human heart and the invisible divine mercy. The peace that comes to us when we fast or pray is not a worldly thing. It is a spiritual feeling. Just as depression is an invisible force that damages our mental health, prayer and worship are also an invisible force that heals that wound.

Describe the emotion connected to your piece.

My writing is mainly associated with the emotions of 'Submission' and 'Serenity'. When I want to be free from all the pressures of life, I surrender myself to the Creator. The peace that is achieved in this process gives me the courage to overcome depression. It is not just an act, but an emotion of absolute gratitude and trust that comes from the depths of my heart.

If your interpretation had a color or sound, what would it be and why?

  • Color: Pure White
I chose the color white because it symbolizes purity and clarity. Prayer and fasting free my soul from darkness and make it bright and light like white.
  • Word: The Silence of Prostration
Invisible tranquility is like absolute silence. When I prostrate, all the noises of the world stop. The silence of that moment of worship calms my restless heart. Especially late at night.
