"The Lesson I Learned The Hard Way"

in Steem4Nigeria1 hour ago

Good day everyone
Greetings to you all, hope everyone is doing well. I’m doing great 😊

People learn differently either in hard way or soft way. There’s a saying that learning in the hard way is the best way to learn but there are people that also challenge that saying. You don’t have to wait still it get hard for yo to learn, but without learning in a hard way one’s might not believe there’s really a lesson to learn.

• How open are you to learning, are you teachable?

I am very open to learning and I consider myself teachable. I believe that learning is a lifelong process, and no one knows everything. I try to listen carefully when others speak, accept corrections when I make mistakes, and ask questions when I do not understand something. Being teachable helps me improve and grow into a better version of myself every day.

• What is that lesson you learned the hard way.

One lesson I learned the hard way is that not everyone who smiles with you truly has good intentions for you. People might look pure and kind outside but are different inside, trusting people was the hardest lesson i learnt. In the past, I trusted people too quickly and shared too much about my personal life. Later, I realized that some of those people used what I told them against me or did not value my trust. That experience taught me to be more careful about who I open up to and to take time before fully trusting people.

Though people said a lot about trusting people yet i couldn’t learned from their experience and confessions. Got myself into a big mess / trouble that indeed i had to learn in a hard way and believe me it wasn’t good at all.

• Do you think learning it that way made you a better person today.

Yes, I believe learning this lesson the hard way made me a better person today. It helped me become more wise, more careful, and more emotionally mature. I now understand the importance of boundaries, self-respect, and choosing friends wisely. Even though it was painful at the time, it helped shape me into a stronger and more thoughtful person.
