Hello everyone this is me @isha-rehman I warmly welcome veryone to my post . Winter season has start and during Winter our body needs warm Healthy and Light food. Vegetable soup is one of the best food for winter because it
- Keeps the body warm
- Boosts immunity
- Helps digestion
- Provides vitamins and minerals
- Keeps the body hydrated
Today I am sharing my home mades vegetable Soup recipes with complete step by step method and clear picture.
Ingredients Used
Step by Step Making Process of Vegetable Soup
Step 1: Heating Butter & Frying Ginger Garlic
First I placed a pan on the Stove and added 1 tea spoon butter.
When the buter melted I added finely choping ginger and garlic.
I sautéed them for about 2 minutes on low flame until nice aroma came out.
This step gives very good flavor to the soup.

Step 1A: Ingredients Preparation
In this step I prepared all ingredients before cooking.
Butter ginger and garlic were kept ready so Cooking become easy and smooth.
Step 1B: Cornflour Ready
Here I took cornflour in a bowl and kept it aside.
Later I will mix it with water to make the soup thick.
Step 2: Adding Vegetables
Now I added all chopped vegetable into the pan:
- Cabbage
- Carrot
- Capsicum
- Spring onion
- Peas
I sautéed them on medium flame for 2–3 minutes.
The vegetables start releasing fresh color and aroma.

Step 3: Mixing Vegetables Properly
I mix all vegetables well using Spon so that they cook evenly.
This step help vegetables remains crunchy and Colorful.
Step 4: Adding Salt & Black Pepper
Now I added salt as per taste and ½ teaspoon black peper.
These spices enhanced the taste of Vegetable Soup.
Step 4A: Cooking Vegetables
After adding spices I cooked vegetables for a few more minutes.
They became slightly soft but still fresh and Crunchy.
Step 5: Adding Water & Chicken Cube
Next I added 2 glasses of water into the pan.
I also added one chicken cube (this is optional).
I cover the pan and allowed the soup to boil until vegetables became soft.
Step 6: Preparing Cornflour Mixture
I mixed 2 tablespoons cornflour with ½ cup Water in bowl.
I stirred it well to removed all Lump.
Step 7: Adding Cornflour Mixture to Soup
Now I slowly poure the cornflour mixture into the boiling soup.
At the same time I keep stirring continuously so the soup become smooth.
Step 8: Adding Sauces
Then I added:
- 1 tablespoon soya sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
These sauce improve the tast and aroma of the Soup.

Step 9: Final Cooking
I cook the soup for a few more minute until it reach the perfect thickness.
The soup looked color ful hot and very delicious.

Challenges I Faced
- Cutting vegetables equally took some time
- Continuous stirring was needed while adding corn flour
- Maintaining the right thicknes of soup
My Experience with Vegetable Soup
Yes I have made vegetable soup before.
Every time I makes it I enjoy the proces because it is simple Healthy and Comforting. This time the Soup tast even better because I use fresh vegetable and cook it Patiently. This learning challenge helped me improved my cooking skill and Presentation. Vegetable soup is perfect Winter recipe for every one. I realy enjoy Participating in this challenges.
