"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why?
What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?
There was a year I faced financial challenges in school which my dad wasn't paid for some months. There was a certain period of time when financial challenges made it so difficult for me to meet up with important goals. It wasn't easy for me because it felt overwhelming for me as every one of my plans seemed delayed and progress was slow.
I tried getting a job but couldn't because of my activities which included managing things little by little and staying patient, posting consistently on steemit, and refusing to give up as I gradually found solutions and moved forward and today I have realised that difficult seasons don't last forever.
How has this tough time changed what you value most?
I learned a lot from the experience which has taught me to value good relationships, resilience, and opportunities more than material possessions. From the experience, I learned that having people who are supportive around me and maintaining a positive mindset are often more valuable than temporary comforts or money.
What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?
Completing a personal goal that I had been postponing for a long time is a small win that I had recently felt judged for. It may have looked small to others, but the truth is achieving it gave me confidence and reminded me that consistent effort put into something produces better results.
What's a new perspective you've gained on life or yourself?
I have recently learned that growth often happens to us during uncomfortable moments. Challenges help reveal strengths that we may never discover when everything is easy for us. Anything about setbacks I now see it as not a failure but as an opportunity to improve, learn, and become stronger.
Is it really true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"? Why?
Yes, it is true, but the statement is not automatically right. Difficult experiences can make us stronger because they teach us valuable lessons, improve our problem-solving abilities, and build resilience. Life challenges can either discourage us or help us to grow, depending on the support we receive and the choice we make afterward.
