Dear Steemit team, I am delighted to apply for the Steemit Challenge Season 32.

I have come up with a fresh idea that would engage users in this noble platform, Steemit. This challenge, when allowed to execute, will encourage participants to explore and showcase the important places, activities, culture, and everyday lifestyle in their communities without requiring participants to spend money or venture far out of their comfort zone, as the challenge will be conducted within their communities through the sharing of original photos and storytelling.
Objective
The objective of this challenge is to encourage participants to discover, appreciate, and showcase their local communities through sharing original photos, personal experiences, storytelling, and how visitors are being treated. This challenge will help promote original content and creativity, encouraging participants to explore their surroundings, raise awareness about their community's opportunities and challenges, highlight daily life activities, and strengthen interaction on the Steemit platform.
I strongly believe that with this challenge, others will get to know about the different cultures, environments, lifestyles, and relationships that are practiced in other parts of communities and the world at large.
How Steemians will participate in the challenge
The challenge will be made very simple and understandable throughout the 6 weeks, during which users will be required to do the following activities:
- Visit attractive places and the places that are facing challenges in their community
- Participants will be required to provide information on the places. This information is; address or location and a Google map link, a Google Plus Code, and a Steematlas link.
- Participants will get to create a post about their places
- Participants will have to provide at least four recent photos taken from their place.
- There will be no plagiarism and the use of AI as I will be very strict in checking participants' posts.
- The minimum number of words will be 300.
A draft schedule of what I would do for each of the 6 weeks.
The challenge will be split into 6 weeks to keep participants active and to make the challenge more organised and interactive. Below is how I have structured the challenge.

| Week 2 | Local Food & Traditional Meals | Participants will share; Traditional dishes, street food, homemade foods, or local drinks |
| Week 3 | Transportation in My Area | Participants will explore: Buses, Tricycles, Motorcycles, Train station, or Boats and focus on comfort, cost, and challenges |
| Week 4 | Community Occupations & Businesses | Participants will get to showcase: Farmers, Tailors, Mechanics, Hairdressers, Traders or Artisans to support local businesses and hardworking people |
| Week 5 | Festivals, Culture & Traditions | Participants will discuss: cultural dressing, festivals, traditional dances, or community celebrations |
| Week 6 | Challenges in My Community & Possible Solutions | Participants will get to discuss: bad roads, flooding, waste disposal, electricity problems, or water issues |
From the above given information, this challenge will be easy as said earlier for people across the Steemit platform to participate, which will further encourage original photography, and create meaningful discussions among participants and their audiences.
Judging Criteria
The criteria for judging and grading participants' posts will be based on 10 points which will be categorised as follows.

Review:
In my judging, I will focus on how well the participant explains their places, storytelling, experiences, content quality and the use of original photos that have been recently taken will be put into consideration when reviewing participant entries.
