In your own understanding, define who an ingrate is.

An ingrate is an ungrateful person, one who finds it difficult to appreciate someone for what they have done for them. An ingrate hardly appreciates good things or whatever is done even for his or her own benefit.

Many people, including myself, disliked someone who is an ingrate. The moment I discovered that you are such a type of person, I began to distance myself from you because I couldn't satisfy your needs, and even if I tried, it would be to no avail.

Have you ever dealt with one in the past? If yes, kindly share your experience.

Yes, I have dealt with one in the past which has taught me a very good lesson about life that no matter how many sacrifices you make for someone who is an ingrate they regret your good deeds to that person.

There was a girl whom I was dating, for whom I sacrificed a lot. I bought her phone, wears, gifts and I always ensure that she is even ok than myself which at the end of the day the little misund that we had which was even her own fault she insulted me and even to me that what have I done for her and that if I feel that I have done anything for her it is left for me, she didn't force me and a lot of trashed words to me. On that day I felt so bitter and angry with myself.

What lessons did you learn from your experience with that ingrate?

The lessons that I learn from my experience with that ingrate are helping myself first before thinking of someone else and allowing someone to openly ask me for something that he or she is in need of is the best way to give out support than supporting someone out of pity or love.

I have learn to spot an ingrate and discard myself from an ingrate with immediate effect. This reason is that even if you killed yourself for someone who is an ingrate the person would still not be satisfied or value your good deeds.

Would you do good to others regardless of your experience with an ingrate?

Yes, I would still do good to others which I am still doing regardless of my experience with an ingrate. I would keep doing good, but the moment that I discovered that the person is an ingrate I will withdraw immediately from doing good.
