“The Value of Time”
Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "The Value of Time" as part of my participation in this contest organized by @ninapenda
Why do you think time is considered more valuable than money?
Time spent waiting for nobody is the reason why it's considered more valuable than money. Money is always there for us to chase, but there is usually no time to chase it. A person who misses their youth in doing something has missed their time, meaning the person is likely to suffer in old age.
Time is considered more valuable because we work with time which we have morning, afternoon, and evening, and an Englishman would always say there is time for everything, the time to work, the time to sleep, and so on.
Time is considered more valuable than money because it cannot be reserved. This is the reason why most people would if they could reverse time, they would have amended their life this is a situation where someone doesn't make use of their time well. Money can be lost and gotten back with time, but a time that is gone is gone forever.
Share an experience when you felt you wasted time or used your time wisely. What did you learn from it?
I feel that I wasted time immediately after my secondary school education which I would have used the years I spent at home writing JAMB and looking for admission would have been used in learning a high-paying skill before entering the University.
If I had learnt, a high paying skills then I would have been enjoying it today, but I was busy at home concentrating on how to gain admission. I have learnt not to waste my time staying idle without doing anything meaningful with my life.
What are some ways people can manage their time better in daily life?
Some of the ways people can manage their time better in daily life are the following:
- Doing something meaningful.
- Avoid staying idle.
- Engage themselves in something productive.
- Studying to develop more knowledge.
- Working to improve well-being.
If you could go back in time to change one decision in your life, what would it be and why?
If I could go back in time to change one decision in my life, it would be learning programming and web design skills.
I was so passionate about learning this skill before entering school, but I didn't and after my graduation in school, I tried my best to learn this skill, but I am finding it so difficult to learn things faster because I have a lot of things I am thinking about such as money, family, better life, studies, and a lot more. Had I mastered this skill I would hwould have done well like my friends who learnt the skill.

We should understand the value of time.
