"What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why?

in Steem4Nigeriayesterday

Hello, friends welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Just Broken, Not Dead" as part of my participation in this contest organized by @steem4nigeria

What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?

Lack of finance is something that happened to me some years ago after my graduation from school which I felt was impossible to get through but I did. Immediately after I finished school my parents stopped sending me money and my needs became bigger than when I was in school which made things tough for me to handle.

During the process of me passing through financial difficulty, I missed going for the national youth service the year I was shortlisted to go which I postponed to the following year and went after saving money.

I get through my financial issues by working hard and looking for remote work which I came across on Steemit which has been of great help for me and others since then.

How has this tough time changed what you value most?

Yes, this tough time changed what I value most. I restricted myself from doing something like spending unnecessarily and became a lover of saving and managing what I have.

The tough time makes to value friendships and loved ones as I go to understand that someone can claim to be your friend but the moment you're in a problem the person would start avoiding you which is the habit of a fake friend while a true friend would also stay with you and support you financially or with good words of motivation.

What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?

The small win that I had recently that felt huge was achieving 60k Steem power on the Steemit platform after spending about 6 years on the Steemit platform. Growing on the Steemit platform has been my biggest concern and achieving 60k Steem power really makes me feel so happy.

What's a new perspective you've gained on life or yourself?

The new perspective that I have gained in life is that hard times don't last forever it is strength us and make us more careful with ourselves and what we do. A hard time is when your true friends and loved ones are known to you.

Is it really true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"? Why?

Yes, it is true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why?

This is because anyone who overcomes difficult moments of his or her life has automatically learned a great lesson to be careful which he or she would never want to experience again and whatever that we overcome only makes us stronger. It gives us confidence to face consequences.

It's good when we learned from the hard times and we become better persons and give value to the right people.
