Hello my lovely friends of steemit.. How are you all doing today? Trust you've been good.. It's really been a very long while since I last posted on this platform due to some circumstances that came my way. But guess what, am fully back to this space..😌 So, in this week's topic contest, I will be sharing with you about my opinions on gender reveal during pregnancy. Just read on;
Do you accept gender reveal party? Back up your answers with facts.
The fact that many families see gender-reveals as a joyful way to mark an important moment sometimes baffles me. But, don't get me wrong please. Although I love the fact that spouses checks their baby gender, but should be shared only to trusted family members, and not to friends. You know why? The society we live in now is a very deadly and risky one. People you share your good news with, thinking that they are your friends and meant good for you, whereas, they are your enemies and backbiters. So, my opinion says that spouses should keep gender reveal to themselves and not sharing it with people around.
Do you think everyone should adopt this trend?
To me, I don't think its necessary for every pregnant woman to adopt to this trend of revealing their baby's gender during pregnancy. There are many risks involve and they include; Safety and security reasons, financial reasons, emotional expectations, cultural and personal differences, etc. So, it's not wise for everyone to adopt the trend of gender reveal. People should only do it if it aligns with their values, if they are able to afford it, and avoiding risky methods. It should be a choice, not a trend people feel forced to follow.
How safe is this trend considering the society we live in.
As I said earlier, it's very risky to to join this trend, considering the kind of deadly and disastrous society we live in. We can't trust the people we call our friends, because they can be the ones to hurt us, not minding. So, I don't suggest this trend to be safe for the kind of country we live in, especially my country, Nigeria.
Share your general thought on this topic, if possible your kind advice to people who are yet to join this trend.
For my general opinion on this topic, I will advise my young pregnant ladies who are yet to involve themselves in gender reveal trend to abstain from it. It comes with a lot of consequences which you might regret later. To be fore warned, is to be fore armed..!!

It's been a while dear
In my opinion nothing is wrong with it. Some people wants to know the gender if their unborn baby may be because of the culture that the first born must be a boy in most cases.
Whether it checked or not bad thing can still happen as we live a wicked world so am not surprised. I think the procedure is medically.
