It was on Monday morning, January 5th, 2026, and I decided to pay a visit to my good friend, Aniekan, who resides at Faith Road, off Ikot Ebido Oku by Ikot Ekpene Road, Uyo, Nigeria. As I arrived at his house, I was warmly welcomed with a big smile and a firm handshake. We exchanged pleasantries, and after some entertainment and friendly discussion, he asked if I was ready to see his thriving poultry farm.

As we walked towards the farm, I couldn't help but notice the excitement in Aniekan's eyes. He had started his poultry business about six years ago, and it was evident that it had grown and expanded rapidly. We arrived at the farm, and I was amazed by the sight before me. There were 1,000 broilers birds, just four days old, chirping and moving about in their enclosure.

Aniekan took me on a tour of the farm, explaining the intricacies of poultry farming and sharing his experiences. He showed me the feeding and watering systems, the brooding area, and the vaccination process. His passion and expertise were evident, and I found myself absorbing every bit of information.

As we walked around the farm, Aniekan kept encouraging me to venture into the poultry farming business. He emphasized how lucrative it was and the potential for growth. I had already been considering it, but seeing his success firsthand solidified my decision. However, I am still in the process of gathering the startup capital.

Aniekan's enthusiasm was infectious, and I found myself getting more excited about the prospect of starting my own poultry farm. As I prepared to leave, he handed me a few documents and contacts, offering his support and guidance whenever I was ready to start.

I left Aniekan's farrm feeling inspired and motivated. His success story is a testament to the potential of poultry farming, and I I'm eager to follow in his footsteps. With his encouragement and guidance, I am confident that I would be able to establish a thriving poultry farm of my own.

Thank you for going through my post, do have a great time ahead.
