Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 128: The Most Important Person in my Life

Hi friends, thanks for dropping by to read my blog. I trust you're well. Well I've got something interesting to share with you as you touching this topic. I actually found this topic quite interesting, I hope you also find my entry interesting...Smiles.

Who is the most important person in your life? Tell us about the person and your relationship with them.

Somehow, I had wished that the question reads "who are the most important people in your life" I would have been very quick to mention my family, I mean who would I have mentioned if not those beautiful set of people, they have been wonderful from the very day I knew I've got a set of people around me that are related by blood.

We have bonded so well over the years and guess what I've got some other folks that are not related to me by blood but have been so good to me, sometimes I wonder how we became so close and all I can say is that God has strategically positioned these ones in my life for a reason and I'm grateful for the gift of these ones.

Some of them might be reading this at the moment and just smile because they can actuall relate. Hey you! You know yourself, I want to tell you that you're special and mean alot to me even though we are not related by blood.

Well since I've been asked to pick just one person, the person is no other than my lovely "wife". Omoh I can't trade her for anything in this world. If you know what it means for someone to hold your hands and say, I choose to do life with you, you will understand the depth of relationship we share and yes, I will choose her again and again!

Why is this person so important to you?Share the qualities or actions that make them special.

Where do I begin, she's got a whole lot of quality a reasonable man would want. Character wise she is superb, no one is perfect but I still thinks she perfectly tick this box for me. I had observed this part of her even before we got married. I know she is someone that would complement me well.

She is hardworking and very industrious. This virtue is another quality I love about her. She might have gotten this quality from her humble background. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and this realization is the motivating factor for many today, this is the case with my woman. She learnt how to be independent quite early to take up responsibilities.

She is a good resource manager. I've seen these qualities long before we decided to be together. I had never loved someone who can't manage resources even when there is abundance. It soothing to know she can properly utilize resources in plenty and in times when it's insufficient.

Of course I can't forget to mention the fact that she is beautiful. The above qualities attracted me but the beauty was the icing on the cake. Like how can someone possess the very things you are on the look out for as a man and then possessed a high level of beauty... No nah, I cannot but wife her guys.

She has been a very supportive system and has always been there. She has seen so many shades of me, my happy , sad , disappointed , high spirited moments and many other moment and she stayed all through... Tell me, who would I rather be with? Who would I rather prioritize?

Can you share a memorable experience you had with this person? It could be a moment when they supported you, inspired you, or helped you during a difficult time.

Oh my, omoh! E plenty, memorable experience na water. Apologies to my non Nigerian friends who do not understand the italicized part. I mean we had a lot of memorable experience .There was a time in my life when I could barely feed , I was just surviving,I would say. I was teaching at this stage of life, a profession I love but wasn't lucrative enough to compensate for the passion and input.

She wasn't bouyant then but trust me, she would go out of her way many times to prepare food on her own, meet me at church in evening, knowing fully well that by that time I was already famished from the day's activity. All I would see is a cooler loaded with food, a delicious one. Oh I didn't mention she can cook? My God! how did I miss this part... She can really cook.
That meals she brought them at my low moments were indeed live saver for me.

I had left that profession a very long time now, but I never left the woman who stood by me then, who was thoughtful enough to support me then. I've not even started compensating her yet, all I think I've done so far still seem like nothing has been done yet. It's like comparing a mole or ant hill with a mountain.

There is so much to be said but that would be a story for another day. Maybe a day will come when our true love story would surface here. My little disclaimer to you would be that you try as much as possible to breath because I'm really gonna choke you with the gist.

What valuable lesson have you learned from this person?

Apart from our lovey-dovey stuffs, her personal life challenges me, her level of faith and action sometimes amazes me. Her determination is something that I pause to ponder on sometimes because I've seen her take some steps before that I won't even dare because logically I've calculated and it seems not to be adding up.

But these same things are what she ventures into and come back with amazing result. I'm glad I'm part of her success stories and by Gods grace we would have many more.

If you had the chance to say something special to this person today, what would it be?

I always have a chance to say to her whatever I feel anywhere and anytime. Trust me you don't want to know what I have in mind to say here but I'm gonna summarize it with these powerful word.
