How was 2025 to you on Steemit?

My 2025 was very exciting. This was my first year on steemit Blockchain. I joined steemit platform in January 2025. This was also mixed feeling year. Some days were very good, some days very confusing. I learned many things slowly. At start I was very excited, I used to post regularly. Then sometimes low motivation came. Votes were less and payout was small. So heart feels little heavy. But still I did not quit fully. I met good people, friendly users and helpful communities. I understood Steemit is not quick success place. It need patience. This year taught me that consistency is hard but important. Even when results are low, learning never stops. Overall 2025 was perfect and it helped me grow mentally.

What 2 things discouraged you from writing and how did you overcome it? Have you overcome it or yet to?

Two main things discouraged me a lot. First was low rewards. I mostly made drawing and cooking posts. This took a lot time to made and then write post. When I write with heart and get very small payout, it hurts honestly.
Second thing was comparison. Seeing others getting high votes like Sc01 make me sad sometimes. I felt I am not good enough. To overcome this, I took small breaks. I stopped checking payout again and again. I focused more on writing for myself. I also started reading others posts and learning from them. Now I understand that growth is slow. And slow growth is still growth.

What 5 things have you learnt on Steemit this year? Do you think you need to work on yourself?

I learned many lessons on Steemit in 2025.

First, consistency matters more than talent.
Second, community support is very important. Alone I feel lost.
Third, plagiarism and shortcuts never help in long run.
Fourth, patience is key here. Results come late.
Fifth, self improvement is needed always.

Writing quality does not improve by magic. I must read, practice and accept mistakes. Yes, I think I need to work on myself badly. My grammar my confidence my planning all should be improve. Steemit showed me my weaknesses clearly. And that is painful but useful lesson.

What 3 things would you do differently on Steemit next year?

Next year I want to do many things differently. First, I will choose one clear niche and stick with it. No random posting. Second, I will make posting schedule and try to follow it honestly. Even 3 post per week is fine. Third, I will engage more. Commenting, supporting others, building connections. Before I was quiet reader mostly. Next year I want to be active member, not only poster. I also want to stop worrying too much about votes. I will focus on learning and improving content. I believe these changes can make my Steemit journey better and less stressful.

Do you have goals on growing your steem power next year? How do you intend achieving this?

Yes, I do have goal to grow my Steem Power next year. I will also get 2xdolphin in coming year. This is very important for me. I plan to power up regularly, even small amount. I will save for future and no cash out. I want to take part in more contests and steemit challenges. I want to be community curator in 2026. I will avoid unnecessary power downs. Another plan is to stay active so curators can notice me. Growing SP is not only money thing. It gives confidence and feeling of belonging. I know it will take time but I am ready to try with patience.
