How is everyone? Hope everybody is well. Today I will share with you the movie HOTEL RWANDA. This movie was released in 2004. It is a small country in Central Africa. In 1994, the Tutsi nation was massacred for about 100 days. Two tribes lived here. One of them was the Hutu nation and the other was the Tutsi nation. Their skin color, shape, religion, lifestyle were all the same. Yet they used to have problems with the governance of the country. And this problem became much bigger after the mysterious death of the President of the Hutu tribe, Habyarimana. They thought that the Tutsi had killed their president for the governance of the country. So that the governance would not fall into their hands, they started killing them in advance. Then the story of the movie was shown. Paul Rusishov Bagina. A hotel manager by profession. Paul could entertain the guests very well. More or less everyone in the hotel would come. Paul was very much liked by the big leaders and generals of the Hutu tribe.

Paul has a wife and three children. He was a very happy man in this country. They could not have imagined that something bad was going to happen in the future during such a beautiful time. Paul's wife informed Tasiana's brother Paul that the Hutu tribe was going to attack the Tutsi. If Paul was a Hutu, his wife was a Tutsi. So he thought of being aware in advance. But he did not give much importance to the matter. Because he is the manager of this hotel, he knows many people. But one night, when he came back from the hotel, he saw about 20-25 neighbors hiding in his house. Then his wife told him everything in detail. The Hutu extremists were constantly inciting the Hutu tribe against the Tutsi tribe, as if everyone would attack them. They were creating a flood of blood whenever they got a chance. They had already killed many people overnight.

Since Paul was the only Hutu in the Tutsi area, everyone came to his house to take shelter. So that he could save them. He took everyone to the Hotel Milkenance for their safety. There were almost many people coming and going there. When he arrived, he saw dead bodies in front of many houses. Because of which everyone became very scared. And slowly everyone started coming to that hotel for shelter. That's why the hotel rooms were also getting less for everyone. But Paul was trying to manage everything. However, Hutu extremists could come to this hotel at any time and kill everyone. So they were very careful. For this, they arranged many guards. And then he got the news that all foreigners had to leave this hotel. And as a result, Hutu extremists could come and kill everyone here. But they had nothing to do.

At one point, everyone left. Only the Tutsi were there. Then in the morning, the police came there. And they asked Paul for the guest list. They were also very scary. They were all sure to die in front of them. That's why Paul thought of using his last weapon. Then Paul asked the President of Belgium for help. Then he called the French government. Because France has a good influence. Whenever the police were about to kill them, orders came from above to release them. Even though they escaped from their hands, the Hutu extremists were much worse. It was difficult to escape from their hands. They were killing anyone they saw from the Tutsi tribe immediately. Now everyone in that hotel was relying on Paul. The lives of so many people were in his hands. Then Paul told the Hutu general everything and created some guards. And for this, he bribed him with expensive alcohol. Meanwhile, since the water line of the hotel was cut, they were drinking water from the swimming pool due to lack of water.

And after the food ran out, Paul went with the Hutu tribe to collect food. Meanwhile, Rutaganda threatened him more by not giving him enough rations. And told him to throw the Tutsi out of the hotel. When he came to the road, he found hundreds of people dead on the road. They had brutally killed everyone, young and old. Meanwhile, Paul told his wife to commit suicide rather than die at their hands. That would be better. On the other hand, the situation started to get worse. Hutu extremists started attacking them. In the morning, the general officer came there and took all the police guards away. Because Paul could not give him any more expensive alcohol. Then another man came and gave them good news. He told them that others from their tribe were fighting against these people. Meanwhile, without any fighters, Paul and the others would not be able to face the Hutu extremists. So he went to the general officer again, and gave him a lot of wealth and alcohol.

But the man was still reluctant to help him. But Paul threatened him with various things. So he agreed and brought some police to the hotel. Then it was seen that Hutu extremists came to the hotel and started beating Tutsis. Then the police came and attacked them and sent them away. Then they went out to take everyone to another place by car. And everyone saw many Tutsi people on the street. Who had lost their homes. And they went out to a safe place to live. At that time, many Hutu militias were seen on the street. They might not let them go anywhere, they would stop the car. That's why everyone was very scared. And then several Tutsi rebels appeared there. Then they attacked the Hutu militias. And everyone was able to take the car safely. In this way, Paul saved about 900 Tutsis. Because of which he gained a lot of recognition. However, Africa Rwanda is absolutely insignificant to other countries. No one helped them in any way after all this.

I saw a movie inspired by a real-life story. And that movie is called Hotel Rwanda. Where in 1994, for about 100 days, the Hutu tribe massacred the Tutsi. And during the brutal massacre of them, only Paul was by their side. And he saved them in the end. They killed thousands of people. But he was able to save about 900 people in the end. Because of which he became very popular and well-known to everyone. This movie is based on a very real incident.

Did the movie make you more curious about the real-life story?

Of course. This movie has made me more curious about real life stories. Which makes me more interested in knowing real life stories like this. Although I used to watch such movies, I don't watch them anymore. But I have a lot of desire to know such real life stories. If we watch movies made on such real stories, we can learn a lot.

Which scene or moment felt the most powerful or emotional?

The most emotional moment here, I think, was when the bodies of Tutsi tribesmen were lying around. Hutu extremists killed everyone, young and old. And when Paul went to get food after everyone ran out, he saw thousands of people lying dead on every street when he came back. That scene was the most emotional for me. Everyone was killed so brutally.

What lessons did you learn from the true story portrayed?

From this true story, I learned that we have to fight and survive until the end of our lives. If we don't fight, we won't be able to move forward in our lives. We have to stay where we are. They were able to win later because they fought until the last moment. Many things come in people's lives. So we shouldn't stop without fighting. We must keep trying to save ourselves.

How did it make you feel about the people or time period it represented?

I have a completely different feeling about the people or the period it represents. Because they suffered a lot during that time. After suffering so much, they were finally able to save their lives. Thousands of people's lives ended there. That made me feel very sad. I liked seeing such beautiful work by Paul. He was very brave. He fought with his courage till the end.
