Aside from this challenge, I actually think if I were to be in charge of this country, as a full-grown citizen of Nigeria, I would have a lot of ideas running through my head. And if I'm given the opportunity, I wouldn't hesitate to execute them for the benefit of the people at large. Let me show you my idea through this post.
If you were given full authority for one year in your community or country, what is the first issue you would address?
The importance of a good healthcare system cannot be overlooked because as humans we fall sick as a result of so many things around us, ranging from the environment, water, food, and even the air we breathe.
As such, if I'm to be given the authority in my country or community, I will first look into building a standard healthcare system with sophisticated machines that can save lives without the citizens or the people leaving the country or the community in search of a good healthcare system.
Any country with good healthcare system is rated the best country in the whole world, that is why it is necessary for me to build the number healthcare system in my country for my people.
Why did you choose this issue over others?
I choose to tackle this issue over others because the rate of mortality is disheartening due to no good healthcare system availability. If I should focus on this issue, it will help to bring outsiders to the country, thereby serving as a source of revenue to our country.If this issue is tackled, it will create employment opportunities.If a good healthcare system is provided, the workers will help the citizens to follow healthy lifestyles. In case of unforeseen disease, a good healthcare system will be the hope of the people.
And the rate of death will reduce drastically.
What is that one difficult decision you would have to make?
I would like to reconstruct/renovate some old buildings to the world standard healthcare system. I will also make sure that workers are taken based on merit and their field of profession. I will make sure that things are done accordingly without corruption, sentiment, or man knowing man.Everything will follow due process, which I'm sure that some corrupt-minded people will not like.
I will change the narrative of trabalism, and meeting the people (Oga) at the top in order to work in this healthcare system.
How would you explain this decision to people who disagree with you?
I don't need to explain much on this issue because we all know how important the healthcare system is to everyone, but I know that in everything there are people that will not agree with every decision; in that case, I will try to explain to them the benefits of having a good healthcare system.
They will know that with a good healthcare system we will no longer travel abroad for any treatment.
I will let them understand as long as we live there is a need for a good healthcare system.
I will also let them understand that it will not only be for the rich; everybody is allowed to come for treatment at a subsidized rate.
Doctors and nurses will attend to patients with care and respect.

Health is wealth and indeed it will give people the opportunity to live well and achieve more. I would love to read more on your laid down plans in achieving all you said.

Easy access to healthcare, affordable healthcare costs, and professional medical personnel are paramount to the public. This is what you envision, even before deploying sophisticated medical equipment. That's exciting! Because your primary focus is saving lives.
A similar phenomenon occurs in our country, where middle- and upper-class people, for various reasons, leave their home countries to seek good healthcare, even though they have to pay exorbitant fees. Their primary complaint is inadequate medical services and equipment.
Those who find it difficult to accept good intentions are not the small communities in need of healthcare, but rather groups with vested interests. I support you in this matter because advanced medical equipment is a fundamental requirement for effective and efficient healthcare.
