The diarygame 12/1/2026; School resumption runs.

Whenever it's school resumption, I feel like it should be extended. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way because of waking up early to get the children ready before 7:00 AM.

Due to my health recently, I feel lazy waking up early, so today when the alarm was ringing, I used one hand to turn it off until it dawned on me that I needed to stand up and prepare my children's food.
I'm someone that likes making fresh food every day for my family; I don't buy the idea of precooking things at night to be used in the morning. Since I was using gas with multiple burners, it was easy and faster to cook two different things at a time. I started by peeling the unripe plantains. I fried them on one burner while cooking my rice on the other one.By 5:50 AM everything was ready; I proceeded to bathe my children and dish their food for them.

Their lunch packs were ready.

After they finished eating, I gave them their uniforms, shoes, and stockings. By 6:55 AM, we were ready to move out.

Ready to go to school

My husband assisted me in dropping them off at school while I stopped by the roadside to get things for my shop.I bought some biscuits, tissues, soap, pens, and books since with the school resumption, the demand for these products will be high.At around 8:00 AM, I settled in the shop to attend to customers.In the afternoon, I wanted to go pick up my son from school, and I noticed he came back with my neighbor's daughter, who is in the same school as him.

I was happy seeing them back, as they saved me the stress of going to the school.When all my children were at home after school, I made them take their bath because the weather wasn't friendly, so they got their cold water bath, and they slept, and I returned to the shop.In the evening, my friend whose mother is sick came and asked for my assistance. I helped her to carry the mother inside the Keke that took them to the hospital for a checkup.

They came back this evening, hoping in God to sustain the mother till morning, as the health condition is serious. I pray that God will heal the woman miraculously tonight.Until my next diary, this was my day.
