The Diary Game: Attending House Fellowship with the Church (21/2/2026)

Weekend is very significant to me in many ways. First, it gives me an ample opportunity to rest from stress of work, meet my closed friends, and involve in laundry. Yesterday was not an exception. Please stay tuned and read my diary.

I woke up early with the consciousness that I had to achieve success in all my plans for the day. We had a one week prayers in the church that started on Monday. I was deeply involved. Saturday was a prayer house fellowship. One of our sisters in the church was very sick and so we had to move the prayer to her house. That was to take place by 5pm.

After washing clothes, I went to the market to buy few things to prepare porridge yam. I had promised my wife that I'm going to help her with cooking throughout the weekend. I came back to prepare food that would serve as supper as well.

I quickly hurried up to take my bath, and then dressed to the church. I met few members who were waiting for others to come. We were to move in group to Sis. Abasima's lodge to pray for her quick recovery. Only members who live around my zone were in attendance. The whole church didn't come. We were representing the church. We were happy to have met her alive. We sang and prayed outside her room where space could accommodate everyone. It was a solemn moment. I believed that the prayer of the righteous, according to the scriptures, would heal her, perfectly.

By 6pm, we were through. I had this belief that God has answered out prayers. I came back home to prepare for Sunday's service on Sunday. I went to have my hair, cut. When I got to the barber's shop, many persons were already there to cut their hair. I waited for almost an hour. It was becoming dark. At a point, I was almost discouraged. But I exercised patience.

I returned from the shop late by 8.30pm. I had even planned of watching Manchester City's match with Tottenham but couldn't because I was stressed. I only ate my supper and then relaxed in bed, watching movies till I slept off.

**That was how I spent my Saturday. It started with a solemn moment of prayers, through scenes of stress and ended in frustration. But I thank God, It was spent fruitfully. Thank you for being there to read my diary. Have a fruitful moment. It's your favourite friend, @okokon**
